Nice desk but needs better assembly instructions
My only complaint is that the instructions were a little fuzzy at times and I didn't realized until after it was almost completely put together that the slide out can be attached from either side. After I was done, it was too late (and I was too tired) to switch it to the other side. Overall, very nice desk and my friends all complimented it as well.

Love the style. Quality is not very good.
This is a good idea in theory. It just wasn't executed very well. It was too expensive for the quality. I wouldn't recommend it as a quality piece of furniture. It will have to suffice until we find something different.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Black as stated in description.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The top of the desk was broken. Overstock sent a replacement top. It was in a lot of pieces, so assembly was a pain. Also, the bottom file drawer was warped and does not open smoothly. However, since it was one of the last parts to be assembled, it is just easier to live with it. My husband tried a number of things, including sanding it down, but the wood is warped. It will always pull hard.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Black as described. Pull out desk works nicely and bottom drawer hides file folders.
