This rug is just another example of why I'm relying on Overstock more and more for my decorating needs. As other reviewers have noted, it is thick, thick, thick, feels great underfoot and was laying perfectly flat within hours of arrival. I vacuumed my rug for 10 solid minutes right after we laid it down and very little "fuzz" came off.. (I did use the half power setting on my vacuum after reading the review about the vacuum pulling up the paisley designs - I had no problems) Now, about that mothball smell...there were two moth balls rolled up with my rug and yes, the smell was, uhm...intense. Personally, I appreciate the fact that the rug was stored with moth balls. It is 80% wool, after all, and I'd rather have to deal with that odor for a couple of days than find moth damage or actual moths flying about!! (by the way, spraying Neutra Air in our room a few times helped a lot with the odor.) Is this the nicest rug I've ever seen? No. Is it the nicest rug for the price I've ever seen? A resounding yes. The colors are gorgeous. Just the muted tones I wanted for our sage green, chocolate brown and beige bedroom. I thought the background color would be a little more ivory or ecru, but it is actually more of a pale beige-y grey. Doesn't bother me in the least - in fact, the contrast with my bedroom carpet is quite nice. We're going to enjoy this rug for many years to come! It's perfect for our needs.

I love these valances even though I had to order 3 of them and sew them together to get the full look I wanted. The size of the grommet looks great with my 1 inch diameter rods. I also love the Java color which looks great with the Madison Park Melanie Comforter Set I also ordered from Overstock. The colors of brown match EXACTLY and I couldn't be happier. Overstock.com is a great company to work with. I'd order from them again anytime!

It is basically a mini arc lamp as it is only 70 inches and not 80 as per the description. Therefore, it would be good for smaller sized furniture and rooms. The quality of the product is good but there is no dimmer even though this was stated in the description. This is why I rated it only 3 stars.

I was looking for a new updated look for a spare bedroom. This rug is perfect. I remember the shag rugs of the 70's and 80's. This is not that rug. This rug has a new modern look and feel. It is an experience just to walk on. And I think it was delivered in just 3 days. How can you beat that. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered from Overstock!

Just be careful unpacking and hanging this fixture. Once you get it up, it looks contemporary and takes a regular bulb so you can dim it. We have 3, one in the entry hall and two around the corner in the bedroom hallway, and they look very nice--so calm after the fancy brass from the '80's they replaced.

I knew from reading the reviews of others that these curtains would be thin and they were. I was glad I had ordered 8 panels (4 pairs) for an 80" window. I actually like the fabric. It hangs well and the color (taupe) was perfect. My problem is the rod pocket size. Our rod is 3/4" and the panels barely slide on. You are unable to move the curtains open and closed without much effort. Clearly these are not the 3" rod pocket as claimed in the description. Because of our concern that the thin fabric may rip with repeated opening and closing, I am going to move the seam to make a bigger rod pocket. We like the fabric and the color so we are keeping them but would not recommend to others.

I love these well-made, attractive curtains as well as the ones with grommets. I have the curtains in different colors throughout my home. The curtains have helped me save hugely on my heating & cooling bills. (One other trick that my husband & I started doing is, for the rooms that we rarely use, we've put styrofoan insulation pieces in the windows. You can get them from Home Depot & just cut them to size. It's easier if you use two or three of the approximately 3"X4' pieces.) Our older, not-energy-efficient home is over 2200 square feet, but our electric-NG bill now averages $80 per month.

Received the rug 3 days after ordering. It weighed a ton (about 80 lbs). It is very soft and plush. My husband was skeptical about ordering a rug online but he raved about it once we got it in the living room. It does shed quite a bit, although I have read that wool rugs shed for the first month or two. It's beautiful, adds some pattern and texture. Great price on Overstock for an 8 x 10 rug of this quality. Love it!!

I wanted the grommet style to hang in my kitchen - one window and also a sliding door. Used 3 for the 80" sliding door and one for the 40" window above the sink. They look great. I used 2 more in the larger dining room window. I don't have other coverings on the windows and door, as they face our open backyard. I ordered these based on other reviews which stated they were a heavy, sturdy material and I am completely happy with these. They look great. I ordered the pearl white. I would not have been happy with these if they were see-through/flimsy.

-Received the rug in 2 days! Wrapped in 3 layers of thick plastic and unrolled and layed flat right away. -I cannot decide if this rug has a 70s/80s feel to the style, but it is the one we both agreed upon. The colors are very close to the online picture, but the stems and leaves are more light moss-green while in the picture they look blue to me. -The rug is shedding quite a bit, but I've never owned a wook rug before so I guess this is normal. I've vacuumed it 4 times so far and it has filled the canister each time.

I searched for curtains for 3 years. I refused to pay *****prices. One panel with them in what I wanted was $80. I got 2 panels for less than $** here. I got my daughter-in-law to help me put them up. I talked about prices as we were standing on chairs trying to get them up. When the doorbell rang for a delivery to my house I answered the door. When I got back she wasnt there. I called to her and the kids said, "Grandma, Mommy is on the computer". You guessed it, she was ordering the curtains!!! They are awesome. and they block out all the light. I sleep in the day so I needed them. An excellent buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very happy with this valance. The weight of the fabric is very heavy, and it looks expensive. The color is very nice and matches what is shown online. I bought 2 valances to hang on an approx. 80-inch curtain rod, which allowed for the necessary "bunching" and gave a nice fullness. Did need to be ironed out of the package, but I was pleased at how easily and quickly the creases came out. The back of the valance is lined with a separate off-white lining. There is a top pocket for a rod, and a pocket below that if you have the type of curtain holder that is flat and vertically wide (I don't know the name of it...it's not a "rod" but is about 2-3 inches wide), so it's versatile. Would buy this or a similar product again.

My biggest concern with purchasing drapes online was how the color would compare in person and would they look right with my odd sized window. The color is pretty true to what is shown online. I chose the burgundy and it appears a bit more red in person than on my screen, which I'm very pleased about. There are 3 widths in this particular drape: regular = 52" w, wide = 80" w, and extra-wide = 100" w. I chose the wide width (middle size) because my window opening was 120" and I didn't want a lot of extra material covering the window opening when the drapes are open. They completely darken my living room and they already cut down on the road noise. I am very happy with my purchase and would get these again. I would have rated these 5 stars, but they have grommets, which I did not want.

We were not prepared to buy a new sofa but needed to make our old one a bit more presentable, so ordered this slipcover. The sofa has 3 fixed seat-back cushions and 3 removable seat cushions (2 of which are L-shaped) and is about 80" long. Overall, we like the fact that this slipcover set was relatively inexpensive, offers a separate cover for the seat, and we like the color (sage green) and washability of the fabric very much. From a distance the couch looks a lot better. But we wish there was more stretch to the material - a feature we might have gotten in a competitor's slipcover. There is a LOT of extra fabric that must be tucked in periodically. My only other complaint is that the skirt lifts up on the corners - which allows the old skirt to show - due to the elastic binding meant to hold the arm fabric in place. No amount of pulling or adjusting has been able to fix that. So - we didn't dislike it enough to return it and pay more for a cover that might address those 2 issues, but wanted to be sure to inform others of our experience so they can make a well-informed decision.

This beautiful chandelier is even better in person. My organza shade arrived with a few cracks in it and Overstock customer service was great at getting it replaced at no charge. The chandelier replaced a 80s era wood and glass chandelier that hung in my entrance way. This is a much more modern look. I love the wrought iron and marconi bulbs. It looks much more expensive than it was. Overall highly recommended. Terrific price too!

Based on the photo and description, I thought this rug would be solid dark brown. However, it is really a combination of dark brown and light brown. Both colors are interwoven into the rug. I was disappointed because this was not what I was looking for. However, I liked the rug well enough to keep it. Also, the label says 80% wool/20% cotton, so it is not 100 percent wool as the description suggests. Overall, though, I do like the rug. It feels very plush and seems well made. It is shedding, which I always expect of a wool rug. So far it hasn't been unbearable; as long as I vacuum it every day or two it is fine.

Came back to write a glowing review of this fireplace and Overstock. Unfortunately, I get here to find that the fire place is being sold for about $80 cheaper now than it was when I bought it a month ago. Fireplace gets 5 stars...Overstock gets 3 stars. Very easy to assemble. If you've ever done a desk, dresser, etc...you should have no problem. The plastic pieces that are used to cover the cam locks are pretty well useless. Might consider getting a small can of ivory paint to blend them in to the fireplace a little bit. Definitely have your cordless drill charged up and a phillips screwdriver attachment. A couple of spots it was helpful to have a compact drill but not totally necessary. Without the aid of the drill, this assembly will take quite a bit longer and also give your wrist and forearms a good workout. Overall, very pleased with construction, quality, and look of this fireplace. Considering buying a second for another room in our house. Hopefully I can get it at its cheapest price next time.

Ok. Here are a few tips to help you get the best out of your drapes. Be prepared to use the services of a seamstress to make sure all of your panels work well together. That should not deter you from purchasing these beautiful panels. You will still save loads of money in the long run. We purchased four 4 - 50 inch wide panels for our living room and took them to our seamstress who subsequently sewed them together to create 2 - 100 inch wide panels. One of the panels was a few inches longer than the other 3 and she took care of that as well. All for approximately $80. So we still ended up with a set of panels for $500 (alterations included) that we could have easily paid $1200 for when we conducted comparison shopping. These panels are lined nicely with weights in the bottom. You will not be disappointed. Buy now before they sell out!

I searched all OVER the place for just the right type of slipcover to get for the ugliest couch on the planet (purchased at an estate sale for $20). The couch was super comfy but really ugly and kinda scratchy. I was a little concerned in getting the green that it'd be too light of a color to completely cover the dark colors of the couch (early 80s collage w/brown and orange). It covered it perfectly and feels so soft - our couch is not like a sleeping pill - you can't help but fall asleep on the thing. Only semi-bummer of it is that the cushions of the couch are very thin and so there's a lot of extra fabric where you'd normally be able to tuck it somewhere. So yeah, it looks like a couch cover, but a very clean one that stays in place really well, even with my 3 year old and 10 month old climbing and jumping all over it. The two-piece was the right choice too, with kids, because if someone spills or anything we can just take off one part of it to wash instead of pulling out the couch and doing the whole thing. Great solution and we couldn't be happier...not to get the burgundy one-piece for the loveseat (can't get a two-piecer for that one cuz of how it's constructed). We'll have a green couch and burgundy loveseat which will tie our decor together really well! And overstock was great on the pricing and shipping cost! This was my first order with them and I now check their site first if I'm looking for something.

We had priced bamboo blinds (exactly same pattern as these, but different color) for our sliding glass doors and kitchen window from several sites and big box stores. Unfortunately, the "ready to hang" big box store blinds weren't long enough, and the custom blind option from brick and mortar stores and sites were outrageously priced. Luckily, we stumbled upon these blinds at Overstock and it saved us hundreds of dollars! Our only dilemma was that O.co had the right width, but what they had in stock was too long. Problem was solved when we learned that shortening the bamboo blinds is a pretty easy task, so we took the plunge and ordered 3 of these blinds and shortened them to the perfect length, hung them, and voila, custom blinds at a huge savings!!! They look fantastic! We struggled with the decision about what color to get since we have dark wood furniture in our living room and kitchen, and although the color of these blinds is light...closer to pine wood, they do have flecks of dark brown throughout, so they actually tie in well with dark brown wood furnishings, yet lighten the look of our home. The blinds look beautiful, let in the sunshine, and allow you to see outside, but they kill the glare. They give such a warm beautiful feel to our spaces. We love them. The only con, is that the large blinds, even after being shortened to 80" are quite heavy, making them a bit difficult to raise. Not a big deal, but we do wish the pulleys were a little smoother. If you have honey or light wood, they would match perfectly, and if you have darker woods like we do, they blend nicely too. Go for it, and save yourself a bundle!
