It's big. Wish I would have measured it out a little better but after a few weeks I am getting used to it. Nice with 40 watt bulbs instead of the recommended 60 watt. Came in one piece. Very easy to install. Nice quality, but I think it looks too commanding for the small space I have it in.

I ordered this light fixture over the one just like it that was larger because i have a very small foyer. The foyer is approximately 4x8 and 7.5 ft tall cieling. I would recommend and the bulbs are not included but if you are like me, you may want to know that they are candelabra halogen bulbs so you can buy them before the light fixture arrives. Intially we put 60 watt bulbs but then switched to 40 watt which gave a better visual of the effects from the crystals on the walls and you could look up at the fixture without being blinded. All in all, I am very happy with this fixture and I am so thankful for Overstocks review system and fast shipping!

My brother in law installed this light. My home is older so he had to tweak a couple of things. He said it's because the lights are made differently than they were then.. It wasn't a huge problem though, he had it installed in about 30 min. It's hard to judge the size, even when you have the measurements. I probably could have gone with a little larger one. That being said, I love this chandelier. It takes three 40 watt bulbs. I had frosted ones on hand and I'm going to buy some clear ones to brighten it up a little. It is hanging in a corner and the other side of the room has a lamp on a nightstand. The two together give plenty of light in the small room. If you are looking for a bright light, you will have to supplement with another light source. It's perfect on it's own for a soft light. I'm totally pleased with the quality and look of this chandelier. It would be ideal for a bathroom or walk in closet.

I bought this chandelier for my new entryway. I got it about a week after ordering as I am in Michigan and it shipped from California. It was very well packaged. They give you cloth gloves to handle the crystals with but those seemed to snag a lot. I just grabbed some plastic gloves and they worked perfect. It takes three bulbs which are not included so keep that in mind before you put it up. What a bummer to put it together and realize you don't have the bulbs! ( I am using 3 40 watt bulbs and it is quite bright, thinking about putting in lower watt ones or a dimmer switch) It was very heavy once assembled so my huband and I had to put it up together, me holding and he wiring. From the time I took it out of the box until the time it was up and turned on was about 45 minutes. You definetly want to take all of the crystals out of the box and sort them before you start attatching them to the base. Everyone that comes to my house says how beautiful it is and where did I get it. My sister has seen it on three seperate occasions and each time tells me how jealous she is of my chandelier. I am thinking of ordering a similar one for my master bedroom also! I love, love, love it!

I purchased these lamps for my dinning room - for the end buffet. They are incredibly beautiful!! As most of the reviews has said, they are very heavy. At least 30-35 ponds each. But they are so stately - classic modern - simple. Absolutely beautiful!! And I cannot believe they were just ***.00 for the pair! I have only 40 watt bulbs in them now (even though they can take up to 100 watt bulbs). I don't need much more than that (even with a 3 way switch) as I have a large pendant lamp over my dinning room table. But even with the 40 watt bulbs, they give off a lot of light - which seems to reflect off of the crystal base / touch of chrome. These lamps are simply amazing. Anywhere else I would've expected to pay 300.00 or more per lamp. They came packaged very, very well. Not a scratch, dent or blemish. Perfect. And they arrived on the day they were suppose to. I am extremely pleased!!

I really love this light when it is turned on. We had 40 watt light bulbs to start with and it just didn't seem bright enough. With brighter lightbulbs we get perfect lighing. My daughter commented that it looked like a snare drum as we were taking it out of the box...and it does. As others mentioned, instructions are terrible. Also, when the light is not on, the plastic filter has a bluish tint. We bought two...one for our family room and one for the front door entrance...looks great in both places.

I received this lamp and very happy with it, it is beautiful! No broken parts, was packed very well, easy to put together, was so simple. The colors in the shade are very pretty, was suprised though, it was not bronze, mine was green, but still pretty and love it! It does look better to use 40 watt bulbs instead of the 60 watt, colors do seem to show up better.

This thing blacks out EVERYTHING. We live between 3 apt buildings, so there are security lights all over the place. You can navigate our house at midnight with no lights on. I bought thss for my daughters bathroom which overlooks a parking lot with lots of light, and has frosted glass, so this is just for night.. When the curtain it down, it is BLACK in there. She has a night light to find her way around to the potty at night. I knew it would be longer then the window, so I am going to shorten it. The bathroom is original to the house, in period 40's with pink, black and white, so I bought this in black to go with the style, matches perfectly. If I hadn't already ordered blinds for her bedroom I would have ordered these in a different color for her bedroom.

O.K. everyone. I had just completed a whole house renovation. The last step was to purchase and put in place exquisite lighting fixtures throughout many differently decorated rooms. Our taste is Crystal and a lot of glitzy BLING. I needed to complete my bedroom lighting requirements looking for an ART DECO PERIOD type of wall sconce with crystal. After feverishly looking all over the web and wholesale lighting distributors here in NYC, I landed upon this Crystorama Majestic Historic Brass 2-Light Wall Sconce on numerous websites. Overstock's price was indeed the best, but failed to tell you that these wall sconces are ALSO AVAILABLE with three (3) different quality levels of crystals. The one depicted on the website are just run-of-the -mill machine made crystals with AVERAGE LIGHT REFRACTION. (You can spend up to $600 + on Swarovski or Strauss crystals as an option for these Sconces.) Now be prepared to do some work in these babies. Each large crystal pendant and crystal strand MUST BE APPLIED BY HAND! This involves hooking & threading soft, pliable little wires through microscopic holes. The instructions/directions don't help very much. If you manipulate these wires too much they will BREAK! Take your time and make sure YOU DON'T MISS ANY HOLES.OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN. INSTALL THE LIGHT BULBS FIRST & TEST YOUR CONNECTIONS! They require CANDELABRA LIGHT BULBS 40 WATT MAX. I highly recommend the GE TRUE LIGHT Bulbs. They have a slight BLUE TINT to them, but they will put out True Clean Correct Light maximizing the Refraction the crystals will give off in the room. ( Little rainbows and shadows on the walls) Last, put these units on a dimmer system!!! They look beautiful when dimmed to a warm lower setting. I use these as Background/Mood lighting & looks fabulous!! ( I used a Levitton Remote Controlled Dimmer........great toy!) You will be surprised with a little ingenuity how you can MAX OUT the potential of these Sconces.............! Hope this will help anyone seriously looking to purchase these items.

This light was very easy to put together. There are several rods available that screw together to adjust the drop from the ceiling. The crystals took about 15 minutes to attach. They come already in strands, you just attach a clip and then attach the strands through the holes in the light. The description says it takes 40 watt candelabra bulbs but the fixture itself says it takes up to 60 watts. The description calls it copper but I would say it is more of a black painted metal with bits of antique bronze showing through. Goes well with the oil rubbed fixtures in my house. This light it beautiful, bigger than I expected, airy enough not to block the view on the other side. The metal is masculine while the bit of crystal adds just enough femininity to balance the look. It should go with many styles of decor.

The 40 beaded chains are tedious to assembe and attach to the light's frames. The light cast on the walls is dappled with faint images of the beads. Otherwise, it is of good quality and looks good in a small room.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! Hung this in my walk-in closet, added a large, round, tufted ottoman, looks like a page out of a magazine! Crystals were not that difficult to hang- I had several extras, rather too many than too few. After the electrical installation (hubby did this no problem), crystals took around 1 hour to hang. I used 60 watt, seems to get a little warm but light is good in closet. You may want to try the 40s first (3 needed). Overall, excellent purchase for the money, very glamorous, like a Candice Olson piece!

Actually purchased two of these lights and had to have one replacement glass sent to us---which was very promptly handled by your customer service. It has been particularly tedious to assemble and install and there possibly could have been instructions included as to the proper or easiest way to assemble and install. As with most things the second one is going in much quicker than the first because my husbandlearned to put a few pieces together first before going to the ceiling!!Thanks---and they are very beautiful---I would recommend 40 watt bulbs in it as it is quite bright.

Its a cushy 3/4 inch thick, insulating material with a nonstick surface on the bottom. It makes the laminate on the concrete slab ok to sit on when it is 30-40 degrees F outside. Its doing exactly what I hoped it would.

I have a cottage with low ceilings, but wanted to give my bedroom a facelift. This definitely adds big sparkle in a little way. It's plenty bright with the three 40-watt halogen candelabra bulbs I used. I added a dimmer switch so I can adjust the lighting as needed. It's a little time consuming to attach all of the crystals to the fixture, but not difficult.

We put this light in a narrow hallway right off our loft -- we put 40 watt bulbs in and it is just perfect...

I could not really tell the true color hues of this rug when I ordered it, I just took a chance. I received it before it was promised. I rolled it out and it was perfect in every way, The site said it weighed 20 pounds, it weighed about 40 to 50, The density is ultra thick pile and the colors are vibrant. Makes you want to take off your shoes and walk barefoot on it back and forth. This was an awesome value, I just wish I could purchase other sizes and configurations.

I bought this to replace track lighting in a small hall between my kitchen and laundry room. It is listed as a chandelier, but I don't consider it one. There is a hanging version of this item. It has a chain instead of being ceiling mounted. That looks more like a chandelier. I have a chrome and crystal chandelier (also from Overstock.com) above my kitchen table. I had been looking for the perfect light to replace the more modern track lighting. This one is absolutely perfect. With the help of my husband, I was able to change it myself. I needed a second person to hold it in place while I attached the wires. It was my first time changing a ceiling light and it was very easy. At first, the wires looked the same as they are clear. Then, I noticed one has a texture on the side and the other is smooth. The instructions are not very detailed and are more or less pictures. I didn't have a problem putting everything together. I suggest adding the crystals after it has been hung and tested. I bought my light bulbs at Home Depot. They are basic chandelier bulbs (the base is smaller, not the standard bulb base size). I bought 60 watt but they are a bit bright as I don't have a dimmer. This would be great with a dimmer installed on the switch. I am going to change them to 40 watt and see if they look nicer. Also, I would use clear, not frosted bulbs. As far as the crystals, they are beautiful! They really sparkle. I opened each one before attempting to hang the light. I had one with a chip, but they included an extra crystal drop as well as come smaller crystals and extra wire to hang them. Yes, it was time consuming to hang each crystal. I feel it was worth it. I started in the center and worked my way to the outside. I know it is glass and not lead crystal. I was not expecting high end crystal for the price that I paid. I am fine with glass. I would not want acrylic. While this isn't tiny, I don't think it would work well in large rooms or above large dining tables. I feel it is perfect for a hallway (as I used it), bathroom or entry way. I would only use it in a larger room if it had less than standard 8' ceilings.

Purchased this rug for under our bed and it's perfect for that. The pattern is a bit dizzying when you look at the whole rug but under a bed with just 3 feet showing all around helps calm it down. The rug quality is nothing like a wool rug but for the price that is ok and expected. The black and cream lines are not sharp edged but are fuzzy edged. The rows are even though to the edges of the rug and that was something I was concerned about. I don't like crooked cuts and this one is perfectly cut. The binding isn't top quality. The rug will slide around, even with our bed on top it does, so I recommend factoring in the cost of a rug pad. You can find inexpensive ones at Ross and Marshall's but expect to pay about $35 or $40 at Lowe's or Home Depot.

We redid our bathroom and used this light. Everyone who see's it says it is the best part of the bathroom. It really is impressive. Also, I recommend you use 40 watt bulbs that are round not the long lights as it looks even better.

This chandelier is beautiful, the crystals create a really cool 'snowflake' reflection on the ceiling when the light is on. Easy to assemble, even the crystals. We went with 25 watt bulbs as we felt that the 40's were too bright with the reflections from the crystals. Really unique and fun light fixture!
