This light. When I saw it I knew I just had to get it for my dining room/eat in kitchen. I didn't need something too big as my eat in kitchen is a fairly small space in the same area as my kitchen. And at the same time I was worried it wouldn't be big enough. It is just the right size and looks gorgeous hanging above my table for six. I think it would still work for a smaller or even larger table as long as the room wasn't too big. My husband and I did have some pretty major issues trying to put it together. The instructions are minimal and we could not get it to work once it was all put together, as if there was a piece missing or in the wrong place. We had to email the manufacturer directly and send a picture. They responded within 24 hours and informed us one of the screws was put in the wrong place when it was shipped. After several hours of taking it apart and putting it back together at least 4 times or more we finally got it, although, we kind of had to improvise a little but once it was finally up it did look really nice and it was worth the blood sweat and tears to get it up. The crystals from what I can tell are very good quality. These crystals hang below the bottom of the light fixture and they unfortunately are not level across the bottom and are a little crooked. I try not to pay too much attention and still get lots of compliments on it. We originally put 60 watt bulbs in and when it was turned on it was almost blinding so my husband and I decided to put a dimmer switch on it. We went to our local hardware store to get a dimmer switch and was also talked into getting LED bulbs instead of what we were using and we actually got 40 watt. Once we put these in the light was just right and we no longer needed the dimmer. All in alll it looks beautiful in my "dining area" which is open to the living room and I find myself constantly staring at it.

I wish I wouldn't have spent the money on it. It's fine if it was like 30 or 40. It's just recycled bottles, so it's really kind of smelly.

I was looking for new new light fixture for the entryway of my house. I had a flush mount dome light fixture but the space still seemed dark. I wanted something that would be a statement piece. Something beautiful that would light up the area, and this was perfect. Stunning is the best way to describe it. When the light is turned on it reflects off the crystals and the whole light fixture shimmers. It illuminates the entire entryway. I was able to install it all by myself, no special tools required...just a screwdriver. However, the instructions they send with the fixture...if you can call them instructions...are of little to no help. So I sat on my floor staring at the fixture for probably 30 minutes before I figured out how It was supposed to be secured to the ceiling. From beginning to end it took me about an hour to install after I figured out what i was doing. Make sure to secure the fixture to the ceiling prior to hanging the crystals. The crystals are very heavy! If you try to attach the fixture with the crystal already attached, you're going to struggle and your arms are going to get real sore! It doesn't come with light bulbs, but you can get them pretty cheap at any home improvement, grocery, or hardware store. It requires Four (4) 40-watt candelabra (E12) bulbs. I really wanted the space to be bright so I got the 60-watt instead of the 40-watt, and the fixture is able to take up to 60-watt. It's so bright now that I think i'm going to install a dimmer. All in all, this was a great buy...Affordable, fairly easy to install, and gorgeous! I'm a very happy customer :-) <3

The actual palm does not look like the photo. It is a very poor quality, cheap looking plant. No one has ever thought it was real, not even from a distance, Even the color is not that of a natural plant. The pot is too small & it tips over, I had to put it in a larger pot, and put moss around it & cut off some of the broken, & damaged leaves to get it decent looking. Only kept it because of the cost to ship back ($30.00 because of size), and re-stocling fee. I would have gotten very little back. Don't buy this plam. I have been very pleased & very disappointed with merchandise from overstock. Be careful what you buy, some things are not at all like the photos. Read the reviews, they are usually accurate. I don't buy things that aren't review. Have lost too much money on this site doing that. The reviewing policy is terrific, take advantage of it. I've bought about 50 items her during last 6 months, and about 40 items great, 10 OK and 10 total junk. Because you got a few good items, don't be misled into thinking everything on here is good quality or a good price. Some things are cheaper in your local stores. You need to really take a good look at the item (enlarged photo), read the describtion and READ THE TREVIEWS. It will save you money, the return policy is very expensive. But, forget this dog.

As there were no reviews when I purchased this item I was nervous. Had to put the crystals (plastic but look real) on, but they were already in strands, so it was a matter of attaching the strand of crystals to the top base. We attached the crystal strands before hanging as I couldn't envision hanging them on after installation while standing on a ladder bending over the center island! The electricians installed it, and it was very heavy, so it took 3 guys to get it on there. We had looked at several lighting stores and found prices for comparable chandeliers to be upwards of $,$$$$, so this is a great value. It's sparkly and beautiful. There could be more strands to give a fuller look, but it's fine and I love it.

I ordered this lamp for my daughter's room which I had just redecorated. The lamp looks great! The only thing I did was buy 60 watt bulbs to replace the 40 watt bulbs which came with the lamp. Sets the ambiance of the room!

I bought this chandelier for my new entryway. I got it about a week after ordering as I am in Michigan and it shipped from California. It was very well packaged. They give you cloth gloves to handle the crystals with but those seemed to snag a lot. I just grabbed some plastic gloves and they worked perfect. It takes three bulbs which are not included so keep that in mind before you put it up. What a bummer to put it together and realize you don't have the bulbs! ( I am using 3 40 watt bulbs and it is quite bright, thinking about putting in lower watt ones or a dimmer switch) It was very heavy once assembled so my huband and I had to put it up together, me holding and he wiring. From the time I took it out of the box until the time it was up and turned on was about 45 minutes. You definetly want to take all of the crystals out of the box and sort them before you start attatching them to the base. Everyone that comes to my house says how beautiful it is and where did I get it. My sister has seen it on three seperate occasions and each time tells me how jealous she is of my chandelier. I am thinking of ordering a similar one for my master bedroom also! I love, love, love it!

I bought another pad for 3 times the amount of money and paid an additional $40 for delivery. Although my old pad was a little thicker this one is just fine. The Customer Service rep was wonderful in answering my questions and the best surprise was It came much earlier then expected.

I bought this to replace track lighting in a small hall between my kitchen and laundry room. It is listed as a chandelier, but I don't consider it one. There is a hanging version of this item. It has a chain instead of being ceiling mounted. That looks more like a chandelier. I have a chrome and crystal chandelier (also from Overstock.com) above my kitchen table. I had been looking for the perfect light to replace the more modern track lighting. This one is absolutely perfect. With the help of my husband, I was able to change it myself. I needed a second person to hold it in place while I attached the wires. It was my first time changing a ceiling light and it was very easy. At first, the wires looked the same as they are clear. Then, I noticed one has a texture on the side and the other is smooth. The instructions are not very detailed and are more or less pictures. I didn't have a problem putting everything together. I suggest adding the crystals after it has been hung and tested. I bought my light bulbs at Home Depot. They are basic chandelier bulbs (the base is smaller, not the standard bulb base size). I bought 60 watt but they are a bit bright as I don't have a dimmer. This would be great with a dimmer installed on the switch. I am going to change them to 40 watt and see if they look nicer. Also, I would use clear, not frosted bulbs. As far as the crystals, they are beautiful! They really sparkle. I opened each one before attempting to hang the light. I had one with a chip, but they included an extra crystal drop as well as come smaller crystals and extra wire to hang them. Yes, it was time consuming to hang each crystal. I feel it was worth it. I started in the center and worked my way to the outside. I know it is glass and not lead crystal. I was not expecting high end crystal for the price that I paid. I am fine with glass. I would not want acrylic. While this isn't tiny, I don't think it would work well in large rooms or above large dining tables. I feel it is perfect for a hallway (as I used it), bathroom or entry way. I would only use it in a larger room if it had less than standard 8' ceilings.

I seen this Jewelry Amoire in a store awhile back priced nearly twice the price it cost here, and I also seen this item online at another retailer priced for nearly $40 more plus shipping and handling. I am so glad that I found this Amoire here. It is very easy to attach door hinges just screw in a few screws (3 on each side). You also have the option of mounting it on your wall. I choose to hook it on my door very easy and to hook on. I love it, full size mirror, mirror inside, and lots of storage....You will not be disappointed. I also like that it was Made in America!! Support American workforce.

So cool and so different. I wanted something to go over our HUGE kitchen island....but it needed to be big and make a statement....without visually "cutting" the room in half with bulky fixtures. Enter these cute lights! Totally different and unexpected. Lots of light (don't go with anything over a 40 watt bulb or you'll feel like you're being interrogated by the KGB). Everyone oohhs and aahhhs over them. It is kind of a pain to hang all the "crystals", but with a few glasses of wine, pair of needle nose pliers, and an episode of House Hunters International, we were all set. Very custom look, compared to the standard fixtures. Good value for the money.

My brother in law installed this light. My home is older so he had to tweak a couple of things. He said it's because the lights are made differently than they were then.. It wasn't a huge problem though, he had it installed in about 30 min. It's hard to judge the size, even when you have the measurements. I probably could have gone with a little larger one. That being said, I love this chandelier. It takes three 40 watt bulbs. I had frosted ones on hand and I'm going to buy some clear ones to brighten it up a little. It is hanging in a corner and the other side of the room has a lamp on a nightstand. The two together give plenty of light in the small room. If you are looking for a bright light, you will have to supplement with another light source. It's perfect on it's own for a soft light. I'm totally pleased with the quality and look of this chandelier. It would be ideal for a bathroom or walk in closet.

On the site, the shade looks beige. But, in person it is silver. No matter, it works together beautifully. I find it to be a very stunning lamp. As another person wrote, it looks like a work of art. The top is a bit shaky, but it is not a problem. It says that it has a Floor On/Off push button, It does not. Site says to use a 40-watt incandescent bulb. It actually uses a 3 way 30-70-100 bulb. I am very happy with this purchase. I always look for the unusual, no matter what it is. I don't want to walk into someone else's home and find my decor.

A lot of people complained of them smelling, did not have this problem. Color is better in person, and it is under my dining room set. I'm thinking of getting another one because it is so soft and I dont get to walk on it much. Saw the same one else-where for 3 times the price plus 40 dollars s&h so it was an excellent deal. My only problem is this replaced a similar rug which they dicountinued and it does the same thing. It is over wall to wall carpet and it will not lay flat. Don't know if a carpet pad will help?

First off, one thing they don't mention on the site is that the blades are silver on one side (and edges) and a natural wood color on the other, so you have options. The silver side is a painted wood, the other a laminate. They look just fine. Second, this fan comes with a remote to control the light (on/off) and the fan (off/low/medium/high). That means there is a transmitter that you connect your power to inside the fan housing. It also means that I could bypass the "light output" from the transmitter (blue cord if I recall) and connect the light directly to a light switch. In other words, I preferred to use the remote to control the fan, but a normal light switch to control the light. Two 40 watt bulbs are not very bright so you'll probably need to use a lamp or other lights in the room. If light output is a priority for you, you'll probably want to find a 3-light unit with 60 watts per light. However, you are probably after the sleek look of this unit rather than those ugly 3 spotlight units of old. It's worth the tradeoff to me. Lastly, this fan pushes a lot of air. We have it mounted above our bed and we use it to better regulate our comfort and not use the a/c so much. Enjoy!

I would recommend this product to anyone who has enough height to hang the fixture. When I ordered it I did not understand that the fixture itself was 40" tall. I placed the order and about 10 days later the fixture arrived by freight truck. I opened the box and immediately knew it would not work for my location. I called Overstock customer service the same day I received it for instructions to return it. I was told that another dept.would be contacting me. After a few days I called again, yes they had the notes that I had already called but still no authorization to return. Someone else would again be contacting me. on 10-16 I called again and was told that I would be contacted on Monday, on 10-22 I called and was told I would receive an return label by email. This has been going on for at least 3 weeks now. This is a beautiful piece and I truly wish I could use it but I can't. It is going on 30 days which is their terms for returns for full refund. If this is the way they do business, I can certainly say that they could learn from some other online companies who are prompt with their returns as they have promised. This certainly concerns me about ordering from the company again. I just want to return it. I know I will have to pay the shipping to return it but, they won't even tell me to go ahead and return it. Anybody else had a similar situation?

This is a gorgeous light. The photo does not do it justice. Our electrician installed it in our entrance foyer and it gives off a bright, sparkling light and throws reflections all around the space that add a real "wow!" factor. A few things to note: It took about 40 minutes to put on all of the crystal balls, and with all of that crystal the fixture weighs about 11 lbs. So, you have to choose whether you want to hang a pretty hefty light or whether you want to install all of the crystal after it is hung -- either way, it's a little hard to do. But worth it.

I have a cottage with low ceilings, but wanted to give my bedroom a facelift. This definitely adds big sparkle in a little way. It's plenty bright with the three 40-watt halogen candelabra bulbs I used. I added a dimmer switch so I can adjust the lighting as needed. It's a little time consuming to attach all of the crystals to the fixture, but not difficult.

We hung 2 of these lights above the counter/island in our kitchen and they look great. They are a bit bright with 3- 40 watt bulbs each-- need to change them out for 25 watts. When they first arrived we thought they were going to be too big, but once they were installed with a high ceiling in the room they turned out fine.

This is even better than I hoped! I have a very small dining nook with a 30 x 40 inch table and needed something to give it a "wow" factor - everyone who walks in LOVES it. And I love it every time I turn it on! It's a contemporary take on a classic look and it looks wonderful. It's bright and lovely - I haven't yet installed the dimmer so I don't know how it will work - I'll keep you posted!

We put this light in a narrow hallway right off our loft -- we put 40 watt bulbs in and it is just perfect...
