good value
i ordered 2 stools then later another. the 1st 2 came with some missing parts but overstock corrected the problem. i read one of the reviews that said the finish on the seat was black, none of mine were black just a very dark brown stain with some wood grain showing.

Great chairs
These are reproductions of the more famous design. We bought them for the boat and have a very sturdy and heavy base that keeps them from falling over. The wood seats are nice.

Finish is BLACK
I just got the box open and I'm looking at the chair. The finish is definitely BLACK. I'm not sure yet if it'll now fit in with my kitchen decor, I was hoping for more of a dark wood tone finish like the photo....still debating about putting it together or just sending it back.
