This cabinet surprised me in how well it was engineered. Everything lined up perfectly, all of the parts were included and well marked, and the instructions were easy to follow. Do yourself a favor and use a drill for putting in the screws. There are about 30 on the back panel alone. One of the feet was cracked, but I wasn't planning on using them anyway. The cabinet looks fine without them. I did anchor it to the wall by drilling through the frame that supports the drawers and screwing it to a stud. Without anchoring it is a bit wobbly when sitting on carpet. But one screw made it rock solid. I wouldn't use the two brackets it comes with to anchor it -- they would show. I put this in a very small powder room to hold toilet paper and cleaning supplies. It's perfect for that. It will hold 6 double-sized rolls of toilet paper on each shelf. I will be spraying the glass to frost it. The glass is held in with caulking, not with clips, so you have to spray it in place, or cut the caulking to remove it. The glass is tempered, which is important when a cabinet is near floor level. Overall, I am very please with this purchase. I gave it a "good" and not "excellent" because of the cracked foot, but I'm sure I could have gotten a replacement for it if I wanted. I also downrated it a tad because it's made of pressboard, so not of the highest quality. But for the price, it's well worth it.
This is a great little piece but I must say I found it very time consuing to put together (3 hours or more). Worth it when all is said and done and after a night's rest (it got to me -- all those little screws!!). It arrived in great shape with the exception of a small ding on the side I didn't see until I was just about done. I am sure they would send me a replacement piece (overstock.com is REALLY great about that) but do I want to spend even more time taking it apart and putting it back together? EGH!
Exactly as described. Perfect for a very narrow hallway, being used for towel and bath storage next to a tiny bathroom. For a prepack piece, this is great quality. I put it together by myself in about 45 minutes. I plan on buying decorative knobs to make it even better, but couldn't be happier with this piece, and know it will be flexible for when I move as well.
I searched for a piece of furniture that would fit in a narrow space in my basement bathroom. This hutch at 9" deep fit perfectly. It did take a couple of hours to put together, but that was partly due to the fact that the there were so many little screws! I have put together many bookcases, chairs, cabinets and tables. This was by far the most well-made quality piece I've ever assembled - and it looks great!
This cabinet is perfect for the small, narrow space behind my front door. It looks like it is more expensive than it is. I read that some people had to attach it to the wall for stability. I didn't have this problem -- it is solid as a rock on my wood floor. However, if you have that concern, the materials to attach it to a wall are included. The white was too bright for the my hallway so my husband painted it a grayish-blue for me. However, my husband was a professional painter for 30 years, so I don't know how it would have looked if I had done it by myself. I'm only saying that so you know it is paint-able.
We needed something very narrow for a bath and this fit the bill and the price. This won't get used much, which is probably good, since it's MDF. But looks OK and holds extra towels. You do have to use the wall mounts or it will tip over, it's very unbalanced, but works fine with the mounts. I would not get it for regular heavy use.
the drawers suck they don't work wight and its extremely narrow, you couldn't use it to put plates in or more than one 1/2 glasses.. its extremely poor quality.
a bit on the complicated side to assemble Drawers do not slide easily. Structure is skiiny and therefore unstable unless you anchor to the wal and this is an unsightly option
Product is overpriced for its quality. Too many small pieces to have to put together. Assembly took over 3 hours. Assembled product looks good but is wobbley.
It looks pretty but was a challenge to build. Even using a power drill, this took me a few hours and some cursing to put together. I attached, removed, and reattached one of the doors multiple times in an attempt to get it to line up straight and finally gave up when it looked "close enough". The instructions were pretty clear... but they also warn to use caution as the pieces "will scratch easily". I don't doubt that based on the powdery feeling of the paint on the wood pieces. However, for the price I paid this is a gorgeous liquor cabinet that takes up very little space. Check the measurements of the cabinet thoroughly before you decide to buy. It is very shallow in depth... but depending on what you use it for, that can be a bonus.
