LOVE IT
I love my fireplace!!! My living room looks so much nicer!! My fire place arrived within 5 days of placing the order; it came it 2 boxes...not too large for me to handle. My husband assembled the mantle in less than an hour if that and there is a back piece that when raised up makes the fireplace a corner unit or you can leave it down and it fits perfectly on a main wall. The heater unit keeps my living room cozy, I am soooo glad I purchased this item, I was leary as I have seen units similar to this at local stores and in person they look "cheap" and they seem to be "cheap" ...except for the price and that was my fear with purchasing on line but that was no where near the case. I would definitly recommend this item for purchase :) !!!

I was a little concerned about ordering this fireplace online. I have had great luck and experiences with my Overstock.com purchases, but this was a big ticket item. I am so glad I bought this! The Espresso is a rich deep color that really completes our basement family room. Most importantly, the heater is powerful and warms the area very well. Great purchase and fast delivery.

FANTASTIC FIREPLACE!!
This replaced one that the switches burnt out, bought at OSH for the same price 5 years ago. I Love this fireplace more than thought I would. Very hard to make that final purchase and like others, it was a lot of money for an on line purchase. I had a few problems with the tracking information but it all work out in the end. This unit is super easy to put together. I am a 54 year old female and it took about 2 hours or less to put together by myself. The wood is dark but you can still see the wood grain and the slate add a little more color to the area. I love it and if it only last 5 years, I will be back for another one like this. The heater works great. I can't say enough about how nice it looks. I love the big size and the fact that if I move I can use it as a corner piece. If you buy this you will not be disappointed. My house is 500 square feet and this will be my main source of heat.

Beautiful
The quality is very good. It had a small imperfection on the corner of the top mantle, but rather than going through the replacement process I used a little Old English and it covered beautifully. I like the fact that I can use the flames without the heat to get that romantic feeling (I live in AZ). I assembled it by myself, so took longer than maybe a couple could assemble it, but well worth the effort.

Easy to use with/with out remote. Very versatile, can use in corner or flat. Not using it to hold a tv, but it looks like it could hold one. Very happy with the product.

Great value
I'm a 40 year old female and it took me about an hour to assemble - not bad! The wood is good quality and sturdy. I highly recommend vacuuming the pieces before assembling as I did. The styrofoam from the great packaging they did seems to get stuck in the screw holes. The heat blower works well in a smaller room. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

This is beautiful!
This fireplace is BEAUTIFUL. I wanted a faux fireplace with a heater as it rarely gets too cold in central Texas, but my den gets chilly. This has been the perfect solution to the problem. It did take longer to assemble than stated.
