Beautiful and Easy to Assemble
I dont know what the other reviewer is talking about. The product was insanely easy to assemble, probably one of the best sets of instructions Ive ever had. Yes they are long and it takes a bit to build but its fairly easy. The hardest part is assembling the doors. The outside doors use one type of hinge while the inside use another. If they dont fit at first (which mine didnt) there are adjustment screws on the hinges you have to mess with until they fit.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Its actually a lot like the color. The red in the name threw me a little.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. It is very nice, sturdy and well made.

Good for the money
The price is right for this buffet and it has plenty of storage. The drawer sticks a little but I think for the price, it's ok. I was highly impressed on how it came packaged and arrived with out any damages. They pack really well!

Holland Red Cocoa Buffet Cabinet
The description "red cocoa" was confusing; this piece is as pictured (black.) It came in two packages, several days apart, with the adviso that assembly would probably take 1/2 day. That was not unrealistic. However, many hours later when it was fully assembled, it did not look like RTA furniture, so I feel it was worth the time and effort. Not for those new to RTA projects.

- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? As expected. I'd call it "espresso" since it's not red at all (but I'd read other reviews and knew what to expect).
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. It looks great. I knew it wasn't a solid/hardwood piece, so I knew what to expect. It's really quite pretty and looks great in our small dining room. We'll probably add some handles to the center cabinets.

Great item with bad directions
This is a great product. It looks high quality and is modern looking. We are very happy with the buffet. Only problem was putting it together. Not so much a problem as the directions lack any detail. Example: there are 2 kinds of hinges but it just says at a certain step to install hinges. Well, we did, and we put the wrong ones on the wrong door so we had to take it off and try again. Once it all came together it was exactly what we were looking for.

Nice buffet
The size and style was excellent. I was hoping for the color to be cocoa with some red. It seems to just be very dark, no red.

Espresso color, not red cocoa
I'm using this as an office credenza behind my desk with two bookshelves on either side. I wanted to be able to close off some things and this works perfectly for that. It took a long time to put together and it comes in many pieces so follow the directions closely. It's pretty compact so if you're buying it as a dining room hutch or buffet, you might be disappointed in the width. The description is accurate. It's very sturdy and I've got stacks of paper and other things inside and it's holding up well. The side cupboards fit reams of paper really well and both side of the entire unit are flat so great if you are putting it between other things. The "finish" looks less expensive up close, but not cheap.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? It's espresso with only the tiniest hint of red undertone. I have it with espresso bookcases on either side and there's not a meaningful difference.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Good quality, but chips or can be marked pretty easily. LOTS of pieces to assemble.

BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF FURNITURE
over all it is a nice addition to my home and we use it as our bar cabinet down the shore, the only complaint i have is that it was darker than i thought expected more of a cherry color and from use the one hinge is coming loose but it is a beautiful piece...
