The circular saw was considered refurbished. But it looked like the circular saw was probably a store return and only used once. really like new.

Hitachi 7.25-inch 15 Amp
I have owned several circular saws, this is by far the best I have had. Many of them cost more than twice this price. I have used it so far to cut all types of wood. I bought it for a wood laminate flooring project, it cut through the planks accurately and smoothly. I also used it for building a 150 ft fence. So in the 6 months that I have had it, the saw has been put to good use and I feel confident in recommending it especially at the price the overstock has it it. I trust Hitachi and would buy this saw again. The ad says that the item is refurbished, which I was fine with, however I think it was new, there was nothing about it that looked used or rebuilt. A great Saw !
