I bought this topper, thinking it will have the same quality as the 2inch one I had bought before from overstock.com. It didn't stand up to my expectations. There simply wasn't enough "memory" in it! When you push your hand on a memory foam, it take about 3 seconds for the foam to recover. This one took about a second. Yes, I waited three days for it to expand from packaging. I had to send it back. I think I will go back to buying two 2-inch mattresses instead of this 4-inch one.

I purchased the Highloft to compliment the Serta 4" memory foam. It makes a good "breather layer" for under the other foam. It works well for that purpose, but I don't feel it would do a good job by itself. It doesn't measure the 4" heigth as advertised overall in the California King size. The price was fair for what it is though. The combination of both types of foam creates a very comfortable sleep surface. I would recommend the Highloft for anyone who is trying to duplicate the feel of a more expensive memory foam mattress.

this mattress topper was an incredible value and surpassed my expectations. It arrived on time and only took a few hours to completely expand (it arrives rolled tight like a sleeping bag and instructions recommend waiting 24 hrs after un rolling before using). I used to wake up with a sore back but since I started using this, I fall asleep quicker, sleep sounder and wake up pain-free. It truly is like sleeping on a cloud...Buy it!

This is the second Highloft Topper I have purchased from Overstock. My first purchase was over a year ago for my guest bedroom using the 2 inch foam. Everyone who has slept on it asked if I had a new mattress!! Now the 4" for the master bed......yes it is 4" high....yes it is very comfortable and...yes it is a memory foam product. No issues with odor and within a few hours it expands from it's packaging. As other reveiwers mention, do buy a size larger if you can to create the perfect size for your bed. Super fast shipping from Overstock and a great price. HIGHYLY RECOMMEND!!!

we have a fairly new and very expensive mattress that was just too hard. achy joints/back in the morning. this topper arrived in 4 days from order date, and aired out/decompressed in half a day. we put it on the bed that very first night and have slept like babies since. no more pain! this is so comfortable that I ordered a second one for our boat mattress. I'm considering one for the guest room so our kids can be as comfy when they visit. definitely a great buy.

For the most part this memory foam is comfortable, but it is softer than I expected and HOT. I am not sure if I'll be able to use it during the summer months, but for the winter months it's great. I was also surprised that it is an egg crate foam. From the enlarged picture it looked like it was a solid surface.

I bought this Memory Foam Mattress thinking it would help to make my bed tolerable to sleep on. But I was really wrong!!! This mattress has made my bed so very comfortable. The topper stays in place, doesn't slide at all. It does not have any type of odd smells or odors. I am very pleased with this item. I was also very happy with the process of purchasing the item and the quick delivery in which the item arrived. Overstock.com once again is the BEST!!!

Couldn't wait till I had recieved the Memory Foam Mattress Topper, had tried other brands and to avail they didn't live up to there specifications, I tell you the first night was like sleeping on a cloud what a differance this Topper made, I get the rest I need now. Thank You Memory Foam Mattress...
I have been sleeping so much better with this. My aunt has one on her guest bed, and I had to get one for myself. The worst part was the smell of paint as it was airing out (it was gone in a day or two) and waiting the couple of days recommended before use!

THIS MEMORY FOAM TOPPER IS A TRUE BARGAIN. IT ONLY TOOK 24 HOURS AND THE CHEMICAL SMELL WAS GONE AND WITHIN AN HOUR IT HAD FULLY FLUFFED UP AND IT IS LIKE A SMALL SLICE OF HEAVEN TO SLEEP ON. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW ECONOMICAL IT WAS!! I ALSO BOUGHT ONE TO PUT BACK FOR MY SON FOR CHRISTMAS. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BUYING A TOPPER DON'T HESITATE TO ORDER THIS ONE. YOU ARE GETTING YOUR MONEY'S WORTH. I LOVE IT!!:)

Thought I had ordered the solid Memory Foam Topper not the eggcrate type. I suppose this would be a 5 star rating for those that don't require more comfort. but I awoke in some pain and numbness in hips and shoulders. Still it is much better than just having the mattress pad in our travel trailer. I would recommned this to a friend who does not require softer sleeping bedding.
