We purchased two of these (and intend to get two more). They were a little difficult to assemble (holes didn't line up easily) but I could have caused part of the difficulty by tightening them too much in the beginning. I would have no problem in recommending them to any one.

I ordered 6 of these chairs in the dark brown, and they arrived in record time. My husband and I put them all together in about 90 minutes. I am thrilled with the look and the quality for the price. They are in our formal dining room, so they haven't been used much, but they look classy and streamline.If you are looking for leather parson chairs, these are the best bang for your buck!Also, the dark almost marbled color of the leather looks great with both brown & black accents. I am very pleased :)

We bought these chairs about 7 months ago. They have been used in our Kitchen for every day use. After a few months of use we noticed that they were becoming kind of loose rocking as you sit on them. We have had to repeatedly tighten the screws on their bottom. The screws attach to a piece that is imbedded in the wooden parts of the chair. Now this part does not attache to the wood anymore. These chairs are not constructed to last very long. They do look nice online and are not too hard to assemble but they will fall apart on you if you use them for a few months.

This was my very first purchase on Overstock.com. I had been looking everywhere for leather parsons chairs to replace some iron chairs on my iron and glass dinette set and had found these. They were pretty easy to put together... even for impatient me. I originally wanted the black chairs and read where someone had said the brown chairs were black-brown and you almost couldn't tell the diffference. That is true. They are nice quality, sturdy and quite cushy and comfortable for a good price. Best of all they look great with my existing table!

I was looking for a nice desk chair to compliment my hidden secretary desk in our living room. The red color fit in nicely with our decor and it was easy to assemble! Delivery was quick. The only down side is that the chair sits a little higher than what would be perfect for my desk height, but overall, it was exactly what we were looking for. Also - it accents our dining table for when we have dinner parties and need more seats. Great buy!

i have been looking for months for the right set for my kitchen in my condo. My decor is contemporary and the space is limited. I purchased the Studio table and 2 of the red leather high back side chairs. I agree with the proir postings, that the quality is outstanding and they look great! They arrived in 4 business days and assembly was pretty easy. I also felt like I got more product for my money since my money went towards my purchase instead of shipping. Bravo overstock.com. You have won over another customer!

I got 2set of dark brown and 1set of red chairs.Before I order them, I was little bit worried about the quality of the leather, but there are comfortable and beautiful. Assembling wasnt too bad. All of my friends and families were very impressed. with the price and the qulity.

I ordered 6 in the red leather and they shipped within the week and arrived very quickly. They were in perfect condition, we did not have any assembly issues, and really look great. The leather is a great quality and the red color is a nice rich red, it was exactly what I was hoping for. You cannot beat this quality at this price. We have looked and similar chairs are no less than $130 each. They are also remarkably comfortable. I was a little uneasy after reading a couple of negative reviews but I am very pleased with our overall experience.

I ordered the chocolate brown. They were much darker than they appeared on the site. There is no marble look at all; however, the chairs are beautiful! It's hard to tell whether they are black or brown but it doesn't matter. I have receieved many compliments from family members and friends. They are also very comfortable to sit in. Assembly took about 90 minutes for all six chairs. Only one chair had a hole that didn't line up but other than that, we didn' t encounter any problems. We took out the bottom pieces that were in and placed skid pads on them. They are perfect!

I bought 4 of these chairs in the chocolate brown. I can see how some people thing that the holes might not match up, they are a very tight fit. If you work at it, they will fit together though. For the people who said they are unbalanced.. don't tighten the legs all the way, sit the chairs on the floor and "level" them. Then tighten the legs from that position.The leather is a very nice quality and quite soft. The seats are comfortable. They look much more expensive than they actually were. All in all I'd say I've had them two or three months now and they seem quite durable. All in all... I would classify them as a very good buy.Buy them. Take your time with assembly. Then enjoy them

This was our very first buy ever from Overstock. We had a gorgeous cherry wood round dining table bought separately that was very grand and elegant looking. I needed something to tone down the formal look, make it into casual friendly style and still match the table. After weeks of online and in store price comparison hunting, we decided to go with these in black... and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The chairs arrived on time and they were pretty easy to assemble. Instructions were easy to understand and yes, you do have to be careful in making sure the chair is balanced on all legs before tightening any screws. It took us about an hour for 4 chairs. Best of all, they compliment the table perfectly! =) We have been using them for almost four months now and absolutely love them! In short, a great buy at a very reasonable price and Overstock, you just won over a new member. lol

My husband and I absolutely love these chairs. We shopped around A LOT and for the price, it does not get any better. They look very nice and are comfortable as well. As mentioned on some of the previous posts, some of the holes for the legs did not match up, so my husband had to make a couple new holes. All in all, we love our new dining room chairs!

I read a few bad reviews, but decided to take a chance for that value ! They came quickly, I had no problem putting mine together (I DID forget to use all the little washers,but it didn't seem to matter). They look nice with my black leather look. They fit in nicely with my small table in my small apartment AND the price was right. My kids mainly use them, they are holding up well, although we've only had them about a month now.

I ordered two chairs and liked them so I ordered two more. It wasn't until we finished putting the first two together that we realized they were off balance. I had to have two more to be custom slipcovered. My husband had to really work hard on them. He took some, but not all, of the little taps off the bottom of the legs and rearranged them. Now, all four chairs are balanced. The second two were definitely easier to assemble.Remember, you get what you pay for.

Assembly was a bit of a choir as the holes did not appear to match up by about a quarter of an inch. However, I learned if you slightly put one screw in then push the pieces together and slightly adjust it the quarter inch, you can then put another screw into the opposite end via feel and it eventually would go in. Have someone sit on the chairs once you got all the screws in to properly tighten them. The chairs are light weight but feel very sturdy. The red leather has a wonderful feel to them and some nice stitching. The seats are, thankfully, comfortable too. I'm very happy with my buy and believe the price was fantastic. Of course I had to buy another cat post to leave near my new chairs since my curios cats also wanted to

My wife and I really like these chairs. My only complaint is the difficulty putting them together. The holes drilled into the chair seat do not line up well with where the bolt goes to be screwed into the back of the chair. This created a significant amount of difficulty. I saw people complain on review about the difficulty and it really is a problem but we found it worth it considering there value compared to the cost of other chairs.

We liked the way these chairs looked and so we bought them for use around the poker table in our basement. They look even better in person and they are comfortable! The leather is of nice quality and the chairs are very sturdy. We have received many compliments from our guests. Assembly was relatively easy.

My only real problem with the chairs is that I ordered two black sets first and then the red set later. The black ones look inexpensive, have spindly legs, and are very lightweight- I got a budget chair at a budget price. The red ones (from the same catalog item) are heavier, have detailed stitching and stronger legs. I don't know if the black ones will last very long! And I don't understand why they are different. Very frustrating!

These chairs are a great value for the price. They look great and I love that the real leather. The assembly was a little tedious but once together they are very sturdy and look great. I bought 4 chairs and would like to get two more. I would definitely recommend these. Very happy with purchase.
