My wife purchased this kit for me to assemble. It came with instructions which were not all they could have been in terms of identifying different but similarly appearing parts of slightly different sizes. The quality of the frame hardware and its powder coating was fine. The fasteners were below par. Some of the assembly would have been easier if i had another arm to hold warped slats in alignment, but then I'd have a hard time buying shirts. All in all, it is a fair deal for the price if it won't be getting heavy use.

The chair was delivered really fast and was relatively easy to put together. My only problem was that they forgot to ship me the bolts, so I had to buy all new bolts at a local hardware store. Other than that massive pain, all good things to say

I had read the words of previous reviewers and was a bit intimidated when they said that it took two people to assemble this glider, that there was hardware missing and that the instructions weren't clear. I spent the first 20 minutes just reviewing the instructions to make sure I understood the order in which the glider was to be assembled. I thought I'd just get started on it, and when I came to the part where I needed the second person, I'd just enlist the help of a neighbor. Well, it all went together very well and I never had to call anybody for help. I am a 78 year old female, so if I can do it, I think anybody can!!

This bench took us about 2 to 3 hours to put together. Instructions were clear. Semi easy to put together. However, the screws to attaché the trays were missing. We figure we will just use the bench without the two side trays, no big deal, we thought... At first, the bench seemed steady and it glided as it stated on the description, the 3rd day I used it, as i was chatting with my husband on our balcony, my side of the bench fell onto the floor, which was strange because I'm a petite person. However, my husbands side which was the other side of the bench was fine. He's a lot heavier than me, probably 180 pounds. We checked and checked, everything is exactly where it's suppose to be, and the screws were all tightened well, but strangely, one of the leg which served the purpose of holding the bench was bended. Now, I really don't get what happened except for poor quality material. I'm only 118 pounds and my side fell apart but my husband whose 180 pounds, his side was perfectly fine. I'm just glad my 12 months ol'd daughter was not sitting with me at the time. So, in conclusion, I advise you to consider purchasing a more expensive bench if you don't want to take the chance. Dont make the same mistake as me. My $$$ is gone and there's no bench to sit on....

We were very excited when we saw this product online and were eagerly awaiting to entertain with it. Such a disappointment!! As we spent hours putting it together, the wood started cracking throughout the process of getting the screws in. I would not recommend this to anyone.

The assembly of the wooden planks was weird. I'm still working with it to be sure the screws are secure. Maybe they need to be pounded into the wood. The instructions were not very clear on this point. Other than that, the chair is amazing. The tables on either side are VERY convenient and set this piece above its counterparts. I began relaxing in it as soon as it was assembled. It was just want I wanted and I'm very happy with the purchase.

Love this glider - it is perfect for our front porch - love the fact that the trays remain in place while you rock. It does require 2 people to assemble this glider, the instructions are really terrible. But all of the pieces were there (many of the reviews claimed that pieces were missing).

I wanted a nice, well-built glider for my patio. Since the chosen area is small, I shopped around for one that would fit. Hooray! Overstock to the rescue again! This high-back glider is not only comfortable and good looking, but it is heavy (doesn't travel when you swing in it) and fits two people easily. The side tables are a plus. Some of the highlights: - easy-to-follow assembly directions, though time-consuming with lots of parts screws. allow ~3 hours to complete. - light weight - bearings on the swinging supports - good quality wood, nice stain Negatives: - Feels a little flimsy, though it held two adults and a kid without collapsing. - needs a waterproof finish to stand up to weather.

Smaller than expected - a 2 seater - but a very nice glider. Assembly was straight-forward, having a couple of people work together made it faster.

We had intended to build a glider to enjoy the panoramic view from our deck, but the materials cost was 4 or 5 times the cost of this glider. So we opted to by the kit and assemble this glider, instead--and we are extremely happy with the results. The glider comfortably accommodates to normal sized humans and feels very sturdy. Assembly was not difficult, but took several hours. Buyers should expect to read and follow the instructions very carefully. We do intend to polyurethane it to help protect the wood for years to come.

Arrived quickly, took many hours to put together. Donated it to a local rehab center, durability may be an issue.

This was a first time purchase from Overstock.com. We purchase the glider for my in-laws as an early Christmas gift as my Father-in-Law loves to sit outside on the front porch. My husband was able to assemble it without problems. I wasn't sure how sturdy it would be, but after assembly, have no worries. My husband is not a small man, and it supports him well. I'm not sure that the photo on line does the product justice, as it looks better when you actually see it. The trays on either end are fixed and do not move with the glider, which we hoped for but were not sure of. My husband's parents love it and use it every day.I was very pleased with shipping. The glider arrived on time, exactly when it was promised.

Great looking glider, all the parts were in the box, it took a while to put together, but it's beautiful and very comfortable.

I received the package amazingly fast. I had no trouble following the instructions and got it built during a leisurely afternoon. The only suggestion that I have is to warn the customer not to sit on it until the supports for the side-arms are installed . I sat on it before these supports were installed and one side piece collapsed. The support bars give the whole glider sufficient structural integrity to stand up to the weight of two people. I have had no further problems. The glider is an attractive piece and is quite comfortable to sit on. I have been using it for about six weeks now and have had several compliments on it.

I am very pleased with my glider. The instructions were written very clearly. I put this together by myself and had absolutely no problems with the construction. The only little bit of negative was that some of the boards were really rough on one side - which I was able to place on the down side of the seat. This is a great looking glider and actually glides very easily and quietly. I am looking forward to many years of enjoyment gliding and looking at my garden and watching the birds and squirrels.

I thought this glider was better than the picture shown. It was'nt very hard to put together. You did need your own tools. The directions could have been better, but not hard to figure out. Very comfortable. Not had it long so I dont know how durable it is yet. It looks very nice. My only complaint is the packing. When it was delived it had a big hole in the box. It looked like it had been throw around, and I was'nt sure all the part were there. The straps on the box were half off, and one of the wood planks had a dent in it. I was surprised all the parts were there.
