I only gave this a 3 because of how hard it was for us to put together and missing parts. Took us about 4 weeks to assemble because we had to wait for missing parts. It came completely unassembled and the instructions were not very good. It seems to be quite sturdy and once we put wood weather seal on it, it should be an okay piece. Like that it rocks back and forth and the little table in between. Does need cushions for more comfort. If your handy at building things than would be okay for you, not for us although.

These glider benches look good, but if my husband wasn't around to put them together, they would still be in the box. Loads of screws, all different sizes, and instructions don't tell you which go where. You must figure that out on your own. First off, the box was really beat-up which made me suspect something was going to be missing. Sure enough, a support for the tray table was missing. i did contact the manufacturer who said they would send out another immediately. That was only yesterday so i can't comment on that yet. We did order 2 of these & both tray tables had to be reinforced with actual nails as they are only stapled (and badly at that) and had come apart. The quality of the wood slats are not the best & we waterproofed them before we put them outside. Overall, they seem to be fairly sturdy, but time will tell. Give yourself a good few hours to put these together.

I needed something to replace the old plastic adirondack chairs for our small porch. My kids wanted a swing but it wouldn't fit. This chair set fit the bill perfectly! Delivery was SUPER fast and the box was in great shape! There are a lot of pieces/parts to put together and I feel it definitely takes 2 people to assemble. The hardest part of assembly is connecting the table to the 2 chairs. Despite the work it takes to assemble, it is so worth it! It looks wonderful on the porch and it is so comfortable to sit in. It holds a lot of weight and the chair widths are a great size. Definitely a great purchase!

Once you put this together (which takes about 2-3 hours) it is really nice! Glides smoothly and looks good. We were missing some hardware which was sent in a few days after calling the number. You can also get cushions at a more reasonable price with free shipping, that fit perfectly !

i really do love the tete-a-tete chairs. they are so very comfortable. it was such a great find for me. we really do like them. my husband had a few problems in the assemply process, but we were able to get the necessary parts and now we love them. thanks Overstock for making them available to us, they are just what we were looking for.

I have ordered 3 of the Tete-A-Tete sets. I ordered 1 set first, to make sure of the quality and comfort before ordering 2 more. We have a 16' gazebo that they fit in perfectly. They make a very comfortable and relaxing sitting area for our family and/or guests to enjoy the yard and watch the wildlife in and around the lakefront. The connecting table is great for a beverage and snacks. One of the sets had a broken slat and was missing the "plug" for the umbrella hole. I have contacted customer service and I am sure they will replace the items in a timely manner, as they have on past items ordered. There are a lot of parts to put together, but my husband is very handy and had each set done in 1 1/2 - 2 hours. [ with minimal cursing ;) ]

THIS GLIDER IS FANTASTIC! ATTRACTIVE, COMFORTABLE, WELL MADE AND EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. WE BOUGHT ONE LAST YEAR, LOVED IT SO MUCH, JUST ORDERED ANOTHER.

It is wonderful once it is put together with 2 gliding chairs - very comfortable. My boyfriend, however took 3-4 hours to put it together since every single slat and metal bracket came individually. It does have to be stained once per year to avoid outside sun/rain damage.

We've now had this set (and a single chair with tray) for some time and continue to enjoy it. To glide easily on the porch, having a table to set our beverages on, makes hours outside a pleasure. Putting it together was fun and it continues to delight the eyes on our little porch. Looks great!

My husband just put it together and it looks great. Not only does its appearance look GREAT, the price was excellent.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my in-laws (they are elderly, retired and don't have any patio furniture in thier back yard). It arrived within a week (as always with Overstock!) We took it to their house as packaged (which is my only complaint about this product.. packaging was pretty flimsy). My husband and I completely assembled it in about 2 hours - instructions were clear and all small hardware and plastic were clearly marked for each section. It was pretty easy and straightforward. And final product was exactly like pictured and my in-laws were thrilled. Very smooth gliding chairs and nice little table in between. Bonus was I didn't realize there is a hole in the table for an umbrella. Great little piece of patio furniture at a really good price.

We found an item we wanted on Overstock.com. After checking with other people that had used Overstock.com, we decided to order the Hi Back Tete-A Tete. We encountered an initial problem that Overstock quickly responded to. The hardware to assemble the unit was missing. I used the options offered on their website and shipping document to report the problem and also used the online chat function, which proved to be an excellant way to express what I needed. The hardware arrived a few days later. The person I chatted with was very professional and worked with me to determine all that I needed. Once I had the hardware, the assembly was easy and we've thoroughly enjoyed the unit. We will look for future items on Overstock.com.
