Just received my comforter, and it is so wonderful. No feathers leak out, and it feels like you are sleeping in some kind of cloud. Keeps you very warm without the weight.

At first I was not sure that I was choosing the right down comforter. I wanted to replace an old down comforter (a more expensive one) that I purchased from a retail store which I was unhappy with because I had to use two duvets to try to prevent the down from getting all over the room each time I needed to fluff it. I have been using the new 500tc Siberian heavyweight down comforter from Overstock for couple of weeks and I am pleasantly surprised with this product. The 500tc fabric is nice and is keeping the down where it should be. Right out of the box, the comforter is “flat”. Don’t be alarmed. Given enough time, the comforter “fluffs” up nicely. It keeps me cozy and warm, and I am happy with my choice.

I would recommend this product. It's warm but not too warm. The only thing though is that it does not have ties or slits for a duvet to anchor to, so it slides down in the bottom of the duvet cover. I have to fluff it up everyday and pull it up. If you have a king size bed, get the california king; i don't not think it hangs enough on the side otherwise a good buy!

This is the first down comforter I've ever owned, and I am not disappointed. It fills out very nicely, and never had the odor that I've read about with some other comforters. I am really happy with it, and the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the dimensions aren't as advertised...the true dimensions are more like 84" x 101". Luckily, I bought the King size for my Queen sized bed, so it's not really an issue.
