Excellent price, cheapest I found anywhere for the 700-fill count. I did a lot of research on down comforters, hoping not to pay 200+ for such a high fill count. It gets very cold in my apartment, to the point where I have to fall asleep with a space heater pointed at me. I'm hoping a 'smarter' comforter will help drive down the heating bill. So far, this blanket has been very warm, I get comfortable as soon as I settle in under it. The box-stitching helps to keep the down evenly spaced inside the comforter to prevent shifting and cold spots. It felt good and thick without being heavy when I put it into the duvet cover. I'm very happy with it!

The comforter came in no time at all, It's heavy and a very soft. It's better than 99 percent of the 4 star hotels i've stayed at. Keeps you warm and doesn't break the bank.

this comforter is so soft and fluffy! it almost seems a shame to put a duvet cover on it when its high thread count makes it so soft to touch! it keeps me very warm, so i can turn down the thermostat at night. extremely happy with this purchase.

Midwest cold nights start early so I was so glad when my comforter arrived. This was the second one I have ordered and just love it. It is light weight but very soft and warm. The size is generous so no fighting for the covers at night.I highly recommend it!

We live just north of Boston- and keep our home on the cool side.With 2 small kids under 6, I am afraid they were getting cold when the house dropped to 59 at night- and its not even winter yet. The twin comforter just arrived, and I was afraid it wasn't going to be able to do the job. It seemed a bit light, and I fluffed it for a day or two and it plumped up a bit. Last night I decided to try it out and put it on our daughter's bed along with a quilt- as I wasn't sold on just using the comforter. When I checked on her before going to bed, she was a bit too warm so I took off the quilt and she slept with just the comforter- The house dipped to 59 last night- and when she woke up she said " I love my new cover. Its like sleeping in a hot tub. I am so warm and toasty." Its now bedtime and she can't wait to hop in her warm bed. Tonight I am putting the other one on her brother's bed.Hands down - this is a deal- I never would have believed it- but she is warm at night-and now I am sure my canadian husband will be turning the heat down even lower!

it arrived quickly, opened it up and it did not have any smell (usually down does smell) fluffed it up and it is hot, can't wait till the weather drops to really use it. i am currently kicking it off during the night, its too warm. will definitely buy another for my spare bedroom.

I think so far it seems like a decent comforter. There is no brand name on it which is kind of odd and it doesn't actually say the thread count anywhere on the comforter so I have no idea if it actually is 500 thread count.

It's so light and warm - yet not over-heated- that I don't have to put my sleeping socks on (I'm cold natured). This is one of the best items I ever bought!!!

This is my first down comforter and I love it. It is warm and fluffy. it is very nice quality at a good price and I haven't had any problems with feathers coming out. I was a little worried because it came in a small box but once I got it out it fluffed up within the hour and looks and feels great.

exceptional deal. nicer than the $900 one I saw at <local department store>. would buy twelve of these if I has a reason to - would not hesitate to buy as a gift. More loft and warmth than any I have ever had before - really love the oversized part - a "gator roll" by my husband at night does not result in me freezing without covers. I recently purchased this down comforter king size and with it came a gaurentee of 700 fill and 500 thread count. As I read previous reviews I saw that 9 out of 10 were pleased with the down comforter. Some said it smelled which mine did not, it fluffed up when I took it out and shook it which some said it didn't, besides it kept me really warm when the weather dropped. My main complaint was when I spoke to a consultant on line asking if the thread and fill content would be on the comforter with the care instructions, he said yes it would, well when I recieved my comforter there was NO mention of the fiber or down fill inside my comforter or care instructions so in fact I could have gotton LESS the the fill and thread count that was advertized. I am happy with mine and it keeps me warm si I am keeping mine....BUt if these items do not appear on the comforter and your not kept warm chances are your NOT getting what you are paying for so make sure the items that are mentioned are there when the box is opened.

I have now bought 3 of these comforters in King size to go in Queen size duvet covers. It fills out the corners, top and bottom and is super warm. I would not use this unless your bedroom is quite cold.

this was our first down comforter purchase and we really did our research...we are especially grateful to all of the reviews by customers like us on the products on this website, which i shop with often. We did take the advice and ordered a size up so we bought a king comforter for out queen size bed. Although I am still shopping around for a duvet cover, the comforter itself is pretty enough that I am not that worried about it. I think it is the damask-style white stripes and low wrinkle material that make it look nice on its own. The down has stayed evenly distributed and i think it will work in all seasons. We, including our little Jack Russell, love this down comforter and highly recommend this product.

This comforter is exactly as it appears in the picture. No problems with needing to air it out before use. It is extremely fluffy and the cover is very soft. I put it in my duvet cover and it looks great, however it is pretty on its own. If you don't have a duvet cover it still looks great on the bed. Very warm and not too heavy in weight. Great price as I have shopped around quite a bit before buying and others of similar quality were selling for at least double. I would recommend this down comforter to anyone and in fact my neighbor ordered one after seeing mine. Thanks again Overstock, for providing a great product at a great price!

This comforter is beautiful - very plush, luxurious and very warm. The one distraction would be I did not see Siberian on the label
