great product
my husband is a hunter so we needed something to grind up some of the meet, we looked at cabelas and ot her places and than i looked up overstock and found this little machine. it works great, a bit noisy, the actual facial of the machine looks like stainless but its not, its grey. but over all, great product, easy to clean, easy to set up! grind on!!

wish i had bought this long time ago
easy to clean, not bulky, good speed, used it for few pounds of meat every time, can't complain at all. will never buy ground meat again, at least this way i know what's in it.

grinder delivers additive free & lean ground meats
I ordered this grinder soon after hearing about ground beef additives ("pink slime") in the media. Another factor in my decision to buy was the difficulty I have had in finding ground lamb in the supermarket. I read the enclosed instruction booklet, a must, before doing anything. I also ordered, and used sparingly, food grade silicone spray as the instructions specified. Before grinding, I cut stew grade beef and a boneless leg of lamb into into 1" cubes. I ground each meat separately, going from a coarse grind to a medium grind as the instructions suggest. The grinder worked very well with no jams. The only difficulty I had was keeping up with it! I could see a dramatic difference in my home ground meats vs what I have bought in the store--much less fat. We had hamburgers made with the beef and they were very good. I am very happy with my purchase. However, only time will tell how it will hold up in the future.

Electric meat grinder to eliminate PINK SLIME!
I find it disgusting that "our" Government non-elected officials are dictating what I can or can not purchase at the Super Market Butcher Counter. I wish to purchase and eat meats that are not processed- and contaminated by what ever the FDA deems acceptable for consumption. I want to order and eat ground beef that I know contains just RED MEAT and not the waste by-products. My local MAJOR CHAIN SUPER MARKET is not allowed to "grind" and if fact no longer has its own meat grinder, so what they have to sell is an unknown product. Thank you for this machine with it I can enjoy a hamburger, even one ground from Top Sirloin if I want.

Highly Recommend Heavy Duty Meat Grinder
Overstock's price was unbeatable and with free shipping I felt like I was getting a good bargain. I received the meat grinder earlier than promised. It is very good quality and comes with a stainless steel blade, although I don't recall that ever being mentioned in the product description. With all of the talk about "Pink Slime", I knew that we had to start grinding our own beef, no matter how "safe" or "dangerous" the substance might be, we'd rather know exactly what is going into our ground beef. We've used it several times already and it truly is very easy and quick for standard beef grinding. We've had no problems with jamming or anything else so far. We clean and dry the product right away, by hand, and plan on doing so going forward. We highly recommend this grinder for anyone interested in controlling what goes into your ground beef.

Awesome Product
My husband is a deer hunter and we purchased this to process our own meat. We weren't sure how powerful it was going to be until we tried it out. Its a BEAST! Very good quality and it zipped through 150 pounds of meat in no time. We highly recommend this product.
