We just used this meat grinder and it works very well. It is easy to attach the hardware for grinding and easy to clean and store. The meat needs to be cut into about 1" cubes first but other than that, it's a breeze.
This grinder works very well and the company behind it follows up on issues. After using the grinder (very successfuly i might add) I put the parts in the dishwasher. They came out black and really disgusting.I then checked the manual and somewhere in it was a note that the unit is not dishwasher safe so I called the company and they sent replacement parts at no cost and free shipping. The parts must be handwashed in soapy water and then sprayed with pam(or another cooking spray ) before and after each use.The motor is powerful and the grinding consistent so I guess that outweighs the washing issue.
Wow! We just finished processing 2 deer in record time. We have been "limping" along for years with 2 older electric grinders. Finally this year we decided to purchase a new one. We chose the right one for us. We will use it for venison and sausage. The motor is quiet compared to anything that we have had before and took less than 10 minutes to grind over 20 pounds of deer burger. Easy clean up. Great investment. I'm delighted!
I bought the meat grinder for my son-inlaw's birthday. It looked to be very well built. He is very pleased with it. Also for the money it was the best deal I found and had a stronger motor.
This is a great product, especially since all the hamburger recalls. I grounded out about 9 lbs of lean beef roast in about 30 minutes. (That's using 2 sizes of the grinding plates, and running the beef through twice. The instruction booklet is easy to read regarding assembling and disassembling, and best of all, it cleans up fast and easy. Now I am getting anxious to learn how to make my own sausage.
