Comparing the construction of the my old umbrella and the new one, I would not consider this umbrella heavy duty. It looks nice but not sure now long it will last.
The umbrella is great - easy to crank, very large, and easy to set up. Our deck is not quite suited for a table, so this is ideal for free standing using a heavy umbrella stand.
As usual the product was delivered earlier than expected....overstock always has excellent delivery service. The umbrella construction was great...stands up to heavy winds and the size is perfect. I really like the metal construction. The only shortcoming was the fabric was not as attractive as I hoped but the advantages of durability and function outweigh the fabric appearance.

While I like the fact that this market style umbrella tilts, (many do not), I found the material to be a little thin. A bright sun shines through. This is especially true when it is tilted at a setting sun. The sun shined through so much that sunglasses were needed. And because it's thin, the shade doesn't have much of cooling effect.

I received this product within a few days. It was in excellent condition upon arrival. I did not do a lot of local shopping and therefore cannot really compair products. It works well and looks good. The price was very good.
