This umbrella looks really nice but you can't use it if it is windy or it will tip over -- taking the table and all. The wind baffle does not work. The pole is a bit short too -- you have to bend over and reach up inside to crank the umbrella open. It is not that easy to tilt it back straight up either.

This umbrella looks nice and it's easy to handle. The crank handle is sooo loose I thought it was going to break the first time I used it. I'm going to look for one that's more heavy duty.

living in Los Angeles, high winds are rarely a problem. However, having had many patio umbrellas, this one is great. The construction is sound, the materials are better than expected, and the price is excellent for the quality. Overall size is nice and large. Nothing, in this part of the world, is a better deal.

Comparing the construction of the my old umbrella and the new one, I would not consider this umbrella heavy duty. It looks nice but not sure now long it will last.

The umbrella is great - easy to crank, very large, and easy to set up. Our deck is not quite suited for a table, so this is ideal for free standing using a heavy umbrella stand.

As usual the product was delivered earlier than expected....overstock always has excellent delivery service. The umbrella construction was great...stands up to heavy winds and the size is perfect. I really like the metal construction. The only shortcoming was the fabric was not as attractive as I hoped but the advantages of durability and function outweigh the fabric appearance.

While I like the fact that this market style umbrella tilts, (many do not), I found the material to be a little thin. A bright sun shines through. This is especially true when it is tilted at a setting sun. The sun shined through so much that sunglasses were needed. And because it's thin, the shade doesn't have much of cooling effect.

I received this product within a few days. It was in excellent condition upon arrival. I did not do a lot of local shopping and therefore cannot really compair products. It works well and looks good. The price was very good.

I am very happy with this umbrella. It looks like a top end umbrella. The tilting mechanism is very easy to use. Took just a few minutes to take out our old faded umbrella and put this new one in and what a world of difference - this one blocks the rays from the sun and creates a nice area of shade for eating and relaxing. Highly recommend.

Once again Overstock.com has come through for me. I think this umbrella is perfect for our backyard patio dining table. It is just the right size, easy to operate the tilt and handle to raise it up. I have already recommended overstock to my friends.

I ordered the Forest green 8.5 ft "heavy duty" umbrella. I did not receive a forest green umbrella but a tan umbrella. SInce I thought it would be too much trouble to return it, I kept the umbrella. The construction is not heavy duty. I have great concern over the opening mechanism. It is not secured to the shaft and is quite flimsy and wobbles whenever I open or close the umbrella. My other concern is the air vent which does not work properly. It does not open wnough to permit air flow and I've had to cut it in 2 places to allow enough room for the air to move so the umbrella does not blow over.I have another umbrella, manufactured by Hampton Bay, which is quite durable and is what I am comparing the umbrella purchased through overstock.

The baffle is sewed tight and during a light wind, the Umbrella wants to take off. This is especially true when the umbrella is tilted. Also the spring in one of the three that I purchased is already broken.

The top of umbrella came with large crack in it. I never notified them..too much hassle to send back.

I am extremely pleased with my purchase, and the delivery. I had spent some time locally trying to buy these items in a good quality, but they were too expensive at the stores. So a friend suggested I try Overstock.Com, and I bought the items at a fraction of the retail cost, and they are great quality! thank you.

Umbrella arrived in a short time. We are pleased with the color, sturdiness, and size.

Overall very good. Cranking mechanism weak. Fits existing umbrella stand.

There was a run in the fabric of the umbrella which we didn't notice until after it was too late to return (our fault really). The umbrella wobbles when cranked. Will have to wait and see if it survives one season.

It looks fine. However, the crank feels a little "cheesy" when you are opening and closing the umbrella. I'm not sure if it will hold up under constant use.
