Have only used a few times so far. Using for fueling Logging equipment. Works great and is much faster than the last pump that we used. Price was about $100.00 less that I could find locally. I would recommend this pump

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good pump that want break your wallet. It had all the parts you need to get started except cable ends if you run it directly from the battery. I have already use it over 5 times, and I am very pleased!!

Just used once but was great and fast Not tooo hard to assemble but it doesn't come with a bung hole adapter so you have to buy one for $12- $30 from some other supplier unless your tank has 2" pipe thread. I bought a plastic bung adapter to 2" which was hard to find and put it in and then all went well. Easy to wire up the unit but one screw was painted too tight to unscrew wiring cover plate so I have to hammer and screw driver it off and pound on the plate and twist it after removing the other 3 screws to loosen the 4th screw. Then all went well. Poor directions, not sure what one red lever on the side is for. maybe a lock out or something. Then you probably want to buy some battery cable clamps to put on the end of the wires you plan to connect to a battery. Then it runs great. We will see how long it lasts but I have minimal use for it so I think it was worth saving $100 over the other brands.

Great quality and you cant't beat the price. All other pumps werr three times the pricew.

The Troy fuel pump looks exactly like my old Fillrites except all the fasteners are cheezy and substandard. The bolt heads are thin and don't fit either metric or SAE wrenches. It works well though, doesn't seem to have any leaky casting flaws and has a nice heavy filler hose but it has no swivel for the handle. I had two Fillrite pumps with 12VDC motors that failed after little more than 1,000 gallons. It's hard to beat the Overstock price though.
