Heavy-duty 10-inch Covered Skillet

Overstock lost the (not too) lengthy review I just wrote so I'm not writing it again. I agree with the other reviewers--excellent heavy and heavy-duty pan. spot weld secured handles and lid knob. thick encapsulated base. holds and distributes heat well. bottom of pan magnetic stainless steel that allows induction cooking. lid sits on lip inside top rim of pan which prevents condensation from dripping down the outside of pan. Pan is from Berghoff Cosmo line with 3.1 qt., not 2.5 qt. capacity.

Outstanding in all ways except it is hard to keep the highly polished finish looking great. I would have preferred if it was a darker, matt finish.

This is a great skillet, that is easy to clean, durable,and has even heat distribution. I love the skillet & wish there was more cookware like this. My husband is not crazy about the handle, (it can get hot).I do most of the cooking & could not be more pleased!!!! A wider handle would be nice, but the performance is great! I hesitated to purchase this skillet due to the size, and it is difficult to know what you are buying when it comes to cookware online, but I would recommend this to anyone. It is quality workmanship, and an awesome skillet. I fried chicken in it and it worked wonderfully. It cleans like a breeze. I am very happy with this product. Whatever you like to cook in this skillet you will be pleased with the results. It is heavy, but most quality cookware is. It is a great buy with the lid included!

I had many out dated mismatched broken pans and needed ones that were very durable. These were the ticket! The first nite I burned everything to a crisp,but this is par for me and they cleaned up like a gem. I will have many years with this pan and will gladly refer its quality and price.
