This refurb didnt work at all, no cold air came out. Overstock quickly sent out a new unit and took the first one back, with a paid-for return label. When the unit works, it does the job great. i have it in a finished attic room that can get quite hot, despite insulation. 10 x 20 room with slanted ceilings. This unit cools it down awesome and the settings are very convenient. Would have given it 5 stars if not for the fact that they sent me a non working refurb to begin with. First time i ever had a problem with a refurb, usually they are like new... not this time.

I bought this LG portable AC and heater on 2013 summer. So far the item is working wonderful. It doesn't require a lot of maintenance. It is not noisy and heat up pretty well from one bedroom to the bathroom and the other room. we loved it during the hot summer. The 3 speed fan modes which also has the option to swing up and down is convenient specially for the a/c mode. or just the fun without either heater or a/c mode. Digital control on the device itself and the control too beeps everytime a button is pressed. With the remote control I don't have to get up to change the settings specially at night while my daughters are asleep; the control screen lights up when you turn it on. The dehumidifier setting is also included. Drain hose connection and the vent hose are included too.

I bought two of these heaters during the colder months of the past winter. I found the heaters to be efficient and I grew comfortable with leaving them in the basement area during that time. The heater does exactly as the product description indicated. The downside for me is the high pitch noise the heater makes during operation.

I ordered this air conditioner during the hottest part of the summer, and was able to install it myself in one day. I like that it's moveable, and that it runs off a regualr 110 plug. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't increase my utility bill very much, and that it kept my bedroom nice and cool, even when temps were over 90 degrees.

This product can only be used outside. It should be stated in the description. If you used this inside, everything would be soaking wet & you would have to put it outside to dry or buy all new furniture. The only reason I didn't rate it "poor" is because it would be fine if used outside. BUT people should know this when ordering!

My husband and I stayed at my mothers house over the holidays and she had a tower fan in the spare room. My husband fell in love with it so I bought him this one for our house. We had been using a regular round oscilating floor fan up until this point, and it is no comparision to the Lasko Wind Curve fan. The Lasko fan is very quiet, but at the same time puts out a tremendous amount of air that feels chilled, even when the room is warm. There are various speeds which is nice, and a remote so you can change it in the middle of the night from across the room without getting out of bed. I would highly recommend this fan to anyone for the quality you receive. It is money well spent.

It's spring in the Southwest Desert (very low humidity) and that means temperatures in the 90's some days and then others in the 70's. On those 90 degrees days, this little swamper works great. Sitting here at my computer with SPT SF-610 Stylish Evaporative Air Fan with Ionizer running on low (cooling feature is on) the temperature is 91* outside with 10% humidity and I am perfectly comfortable with the air stream directed towards me. The low speed is quiet but the next 2 speeds increase in decibels. When the evaporative mode is on, there is even more sound. However, the trickling of the water is soothing background noise, similar to a fountain. One drawback that I have with the SPT SF-610 Stylish Evaporative Air Fan with Ionizer: the remote control does not work! I have contacted Customer Service and hope that I can just get a new remote.

My cousin was the victim of the Sandy Storm and it was really cold in NJ. Their whole A/C and Heater system was not working and desperately needed the heater, but was not able to locate one from any local store and he didn't have internet. So I got him this Lg portable AC and Heater and he is really happy and sleep well at night. Hope everyone is recovering back from the disaster.

Professional NHRA racing teams were using these fans in their pit areas. We had to have one for our home. Great for keeping flies & mosquitoes away from our deck patio area & keep us cool. Love this & recommending it to friends!

am very happy with this ac, does so well cooling, the fan part works well. only thing i have issue is with how it drains, but assume all portable acs drain same way.

I needed a fan for the bedroom that was quiet but looked nice. This fit the bill and I use it every evening to keep it cool and it is so quite! I would certainly recommend this product.

This fan cools down an entire room in no time.. I haven't had to use my AC at all yet. It is much taller than I expected but it's very light and easy to move around/

I get many compliments on this fan. It is decorative and functional. Not too lound, which was a concern. It is used in our basement TV room primarily in the summer to avoid having to turn up the AC. Love it!

This air conditioner really never got that cold and after one year use never even used the heater part, the cold air is not coming out at all. Just the fan blows. This was a very expensive fan. Not happy at all!

This fan is great! It generates a little bit of white noise, but it is not loud. The ionizer function is great. The fan moves a lot of air, and it is perfect on days when you don't have or don't want to use your ac. The remote is a nice add on.

This is my second purchase of this particular fan. Summer's in south Florida are miserable and with the use of these fans I'm able to turn down the thermostat for my AC. Anything to save on that monthly electric bill! These fans are very quiet and take up very little space. I would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a top quality fan.
