I found that this fan does not work well in room that is above 70 degrees...and the fan has to be in close proximity. I recieved the merchandise with missing parts so the fan cant move.
Otherwise, the product is a nice design and disappears in the room.

the fan arrived at a decent time, packaging seemed perfect, setting up the fan was simple....then after turning it on, the noise began. I figured it was just something that was loose, so I removed the base attachment, checked any thing that could possibly be tightened, and yet the noise remained. It is a whizzing, annoying, loud sound generated from possibly the internal rotator that keeps the fan blades circulating. I tried shaking the unit, tilting the unit at a 45degree angle and that seemed to stop it, but having a sideways fan, is visibly and eyesore.
After a few attempts, I would slowly lower it to it's full upright position, and then changed the speed...the noise came back. I am simply to busy to deal with returns, especially after throwing the return box away to quickly....so I deal with a leaning fan that occasionally will make noise if I switch the settings....

I love the way the unit looks and how it fits so snugly in my office corner....however it needed to be repaired because it shook when I turned on and it is only shaking occassionally.

This product was my first thing I ordered from Overstock.com. I ordered on a Wednesday and it was delivered safe & sound 3 days later. This past weekend we had temps in the mid 90's!! My tower fan kept my entire family room cool and pleasant. I didn't even have to turn on my central AC unit. I love this product.
