I really love this item, I have a lot of lower back pain and this heating pad works really great for my commute and all the traveling I do. I'm definately going to prchase another one for my Dad.

I got this heating pad after (get this!) a nasty car accident. It plugs directly into any car outlet and helps soothe those hurts and pains. The automatic timer turns off after 30 or 45 minutes, just as it should. There are not temperature controls on this unit; it is either on or off. Still, for a travel pad it does the job and is a good product at a good price.

This heating pad is great for cold winter mornings. This gives me all the heat I need between the time I turn on the car to the time that the cars heater finally warms the rest of the car. The pad is soft and flexible. What I did was to pin the pad to the back of my seat so that the heat goes into my lower back. I also have seat covers so the seat cover is over the pad as well. This works perfectly for me. I could also see it being used as a heated banket for a passenger.

Product works great, have taken it on two trips so far and very happy with it. Like the auto shutoff. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 stars is because it does not look like the picture, mine was a red and black plaid, but everything else looked the same.w

I like this and would recommend it to anyone who uses a heating pad. The only thing that concerns me is that it is very thin and I wonder how long it will last.

Unfortunately this heating pad for use on my back in my auto, only produce luke warm temperature at best.

keeps my butt warm while riding my motorcycle. bought to test if i wanted to invest in heated heated seats for my trike. did not have the right thermometer with me to check temperature but did get hot !!!

Used it one day on the way to work. Heating Pad always helps when you have a crook in your neck.

I have used it several times, heats up reasonably fast. Wish it could "stick" a bit better to the back of my car seat; but it stays put as best it can. My only concern is repeated bending and folding, caused by my getting in and out of car seat, might damage internal heating elements, but perhaps manufacturer has considered that. If they've tested for that, perhaps it should be added to the product description. Otherwise, at this point, I'm 100% satisfied with the product.

I have fissures and my behind hurts all the time. The best relief is heat. I drive a lot and sometimes have to travel distance. This has made driving so much easier. Now I dont have to take advil to be able to sit and drive.

Very useful heating pad. Item is as described. Would recommend velcro (or straps)be sewn into each corner to hold heating pad in place on the back of the car seat.

The product is a bit cheapo. I had to sew a few stitches to mend factory defects. Otherwise it responds mostly as described. I was disappointed that the manual mentions that you cannot sit on it in spite that the sales description implies the contrary (however another reviewer mentions that she has been sitting on the pad for extended time without problem). Personally, I considered that the timer was arbitrarily switching off the device even when you wanted to keep the warmth for longer time. I cut the timer off and re-connected the cable ends. Since then I can enjoy the heat continuously for extended time without any problem.

Heats and works nicely, but could be a little larger (doesn't cover sides).

great price and works really well. if you have any ailment that can be relived by a heating pad and need to travel i recommend this by all means.

works great for my bad back in the car, runs off cigarette lighter. Cons its on or off no other choice... when the pain gets bad and I need relief don't care...it works great

Well this thing worked fine for the first few hours of use, until the one time I used it and it started on fire. I was using it in my car with it plugged in the the cigarette lighter, and i left in plugged in while i ran into a gas station for a drink, when I came out side the inside of my car was filled with smoke, the stupid thing melted the cord from the plug all the way to the "safety timer" (lol) I'd write the manufacturer of the product and tell them about the problem but with my experience with contacting manufacturers about problems with shitty product they like to blame me. I could just see it, they would tell me "you didnt have it hooked up correctly" or "your car didnt have the proper set up" or "this product is only intended for off road use only, use it in a car at your own risk" So I'd be careful with this product

This is a life saver! I suffer from Colitis and was heating up a bean bag coozie every day but this has made the drive to work everyday so much better. I recently went on a 4 hour road trip with my husband and would have been miserable without it. I love it!
