  I had a couple of problems putting it together and had to take it apart once but it went together well enough. Couple of the plastic pieces broke during the install.

  I am returning this product because it is pretty crappy. It reaffirms the quote, "you get what you pay for". Look for a deal and this is what you get!

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? I thought the entire headboard was black but it has some goldy-ish color.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. I thought the quality was fair. The finials that go on the bar are plastic.
  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? I thought it was a lot chintzier than it sounded

  I am so pleased. I've been wanting to redo our bedroom but the husband wanted me to wait until we got new mattresses. The description on this headboard says it is adjustable to work with a range of mattress heights. That won him over to my side - it can be adjusted when we get new thicker mattresses. I can't be more pleased with the quality and delivery. It arrived quickly and in great condition and looks great in our room. Now I'm on a search for the perfect sheets and comforter. Thanks again to Overstock to making my shopping life easy.

  We have been many years without a headboard because we switched from a queen bed to a king size and the bedroom suite we had was a queen. Because we were purchasing a new bedroom set we wanted a king headboard, but I did not want to match the furniture. We had looked many places and did not find anything that compared with the style and price of this headboard. It was easy to assemble, just a bit heavy, and the adjustments made it easy to fit our large mattress. Thanks for providing a great alternative to high cost headboards in retail stores!

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color was really not taupe, but a dark brownish grey. It is a nice color and goes well with everything so the color was not a problem for me.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality of the fabric is great and it is well make and very sturdy.
