Nice looking lamp. Goes so well with our decor that we are thinking of buying another one. For the not so handy types like me, the one thing to be aware of is that the you have to wire the electrical plug and cord switch yourself.

I absolutely loved them, I bought two and when I got them I was really surprised, they are beautiful and help the room look more cozy and elegant at the same time!! Great product for the value and they are fairly easy to assemble. The glass screen did not fit at first but it's an easy adjustment and does not affect the lamp in anyway. Highly recommend this product if wanting to make an affordable change in any room of the house!

The other reviewers are correct, the directions are very vague and don't give good step by step instructions. You will also need a power drill to mount the unit properly. I purchased 2 units and had trouble with the glass sconce fitting over the metal frame properly. In the 1st instance, the metal frame was bent so I needed to take a pliers and reform it back to its original shape. On the 2nd sconce it didn't fit once attached to the wall so I needed to do the same thing, even though the metal frame did not appear bent. This created a few problems but I was able to eventually get all the pin screws properly into the metal frame. Overall they look very nice on the wall but the step-up was really a pain. I guess you get what you pay for.

I am disappointed in this product...the box stated "corner sconce"...I didn't want a corner sconce and it was not advertised as a corner sconce....and when I examined the product...it was not a corner sconce...whew!...OK!....I ordered this sconce because the advertisement stated it had a turn-key off/on switch( which is visable on the lamp base in the ad)...actually the lamp has a smooth base with no hole for the advertised turnkey/on and off switch...instead....an in-line switch is included in the package with poor directions....the in-line switch now makes the wire cover impossible to use...I would not be keeping this product if it weren't so inexpensive and going in an out-of-the-way area...

I bought 2 lamps to compliment a contemporary bedroom. I expected to recieve a wall sconce with on/off switch on the base as shown in the picture. I was dissappointed when the lamps arrived and the box listed the product as a corner sconce, and the on/off switch was on the electircal cord not on the base as pictured. Unsure how the light fits into a corner since they have a flat back. The turn key switch and plug have to be assembled and the directions are not clear on how to do that. They suggests using an electrician. The directions show the lamp mounted on a wall, not corner? Mounting was difficult and 1-lamp was defective. Wish it was what was advertised.

These look fantastic, really different. Also gives enough light to read by over the bedside table. Yes, the directions were a little lacking, but it is pretty straightforward to figure out. Look way more elegant and expensive than the actual price, I am a happy customer!

I poured over all the reviews for this lamp before buying it but at the end of the day the price was just right. We thoroughly enjoy these lamps. I bought two. One for each side of the fireplace on either side of a large picture over our mantle. I could not be happier with them. The installation instructions were a bit sketchy but it's really simple to install if you just take it one step at a time and do the obvious step by steps. I wish the metal wire casings (tubes) were a bit longer but that is a minor issue, if an issue at all. The hardest part was probably getting the wire through the metal tubes. I also wish my darn walls had more studs in them but that's hardly the lamps fault. The glass shade is nice, sturdy and thick. Better quality than I expected. The lamps hold nicely to the wall and they put off a decent amount of light. I saw NO green hue to the glass at all as others here have posted. The shades put off a nice golden glow and provide us with enough light for our living room, coupled with our other lamps on the other side of the room. If you are looking for a quick lighting fix than these are the lamps for you. The price can not be beat and the installation, while possibly tricky, is much much easier and painless than hiring and electrician or attempting to hard wire something yourself.

I'm quite pleased with the quality of these lamps. Relatively easy to assemble (except the cord housing which twists the cord and then wants to untwist the housing...) and the warm, golden glass is very attractive with the warm tones of my decor. Almost too bright with the 60 watt bulb to mount any lower than above eye level. These come with a snap on plug and the directions signifying the lineup of hot and neutral wires is not accurate. A Google search on polarized plugs gave me the info I needed to do the job. Otherwise, good price for good quality.

This product was exactly what I wanted. Don't be fooled by the box - mine said corner sconce, but it was in fact what I had ordered (as described on the website). Fairly easy to put together. Would definitely recommend this product to my friends!!!

I purchased this lamp for our bedroom and was very satisfied. The only complaint I have is that the cord cover is only 3 feet long so it ends halfway down the wall. Also, I don't think I would have been able to assemble it myself. My husband did that. The switch is right on the lamp so it's very easy to turn on and off. Saw this same lamp elsewhere for twice the price.

The advertising and the box both said this was a corner sconce, it was a wall sconce that would not work in a corner. They are very nice lamps, I used them anyway as wall sconces.

Not as pictured or described. Not meant for a corner, and it broke immediately (top of stem where it attached ot base of light.) Poor workmanship and total loss.

Okay, let me just start by saying that I almost returned this lamp because the box that it came in stated it was a corner sconce and that was not what I wanted. However, when I opened it it was a flat wall sconce. So, then I began assembly which was rather easy. For those who complained about wiring, I will say that the wire tube screw threads can be completely unscrewed on both ends, which is easier than trying to push it through the tubes with the thread area on. It is a beautiful lamp except for the lime green color glass. I wish it were whiter because I did buy a champagne corner sconce for the same wall and they clash. Individually on it's own it would be fine. To me it the style looks a little dated. It looks fresher in the internet picture. Overall, though it is one of the few affordable wall sconces available with the plu-in feature.

Found this lamp after looking for one of this type in numerous stores. Price was over 60% less then local stores. Great product and fast shipping. Highly recommend both the product and Overstock .

The glass shade is a limey.greeny.gold.....not a warm hazelnutty.amber glow. Returning because of color and imposing size for a tiny studio in need of some general light.

I love this wall light...well made, but I found it a little difficult to put it on the wall. It's up and it's bright and looks great in the room.

First, this is a wall sconce and not a corner lamp. It is made to fit against a flat wall and not in a corner. I ordered two lamps and the outside of the box for each of them called it a corner lamp. I almost sent them back unopened. But after reading another review here that mentioned this, I opened one box and sure enough, found that the label was incorrect and it was NOT a corner lamp.The instructions are not awful but could be better. You get a exploded call-out diagram that has a figure of how the lamp is assembled and attached to your wall but no step-by-step instructions. Still, there are very few steps involved and they are fairly apparent. If you have done anything like this before, you shouldn't have any problems. If you have not, you may want to get some help. Don't pay for a professional, it certainly isn't worth that. Just get a neighbor or friend or spouse who is 'handy'.The cord on both of my lamps was 11 feet long -- surprisingly long for this price. The plug is not attached at the end so you can easily trim the length and attach the supplied plug. However, one of the two units I ordered did not include the plug. I had to travel to a home improvement store to purchase a plug and then strip the wires to attach it. The plug supplied is very easy to use - I just wish there had been one in both boxes.The lamp looks very nice, works well and I am pleased. Quality control however could be higher given that the box is incorrectly labeled and my assembly kit was missing one important piece.

This lamp was just what I was looking for. The frosted shade adds a softness to the light. The bronzed cord case actually adds a nice decorating touch to the living room. I thought it would be distracting but it's not. It was easy to assembly and mount. It's a fabulous find at an affordable price. I was surprised that it was so well made considering how affordable it was. Great product!

We purchased this lamp for our TV room. Perfect! The light shines on the ceiling making it great for watching tv.

This light worked perfect for me. It puts out enough light to lifht up the room without taking up any floor space. The design looks great. Very happy with this purchase.
