I ordered and received in 3 days. Very smooth and quality fabric. I bought the water which is a soft medium shade of aqua. The reverse side is stripe to match sheets also on sale at overstock. The white is not stark, but yet is a soft white - but not ivory. And the shams are nicely made and reverse to stripe pattern as well. Really a dreamy set for a spa like bedroom. I like it so much I'm tempted to get another in a different color!
Received this very quickly. Quality is fine, it's 300 thread count and most mortals can't tell the difference between this and a higher thread count. Easy to put on. No defects or stains on the striped side or the floral side. The floral pattern is beautiful! It's the big, scrolly like, fleur de lis design that is very popular right now. BUT IT IS NOT WHITE!!!!! The black is black and the light color is beige or a light tan. (not creamy white).
These sheets at this price is a great deal. So far I've only washed them once, but they came out nice, not too wrinkly, and are very comfortable. I bought the "sand"colored sheets, expecting the color to be more tan-based, however they have a little bit of a pinkish-tint to them.
Even though the thread count is low, the fabric in this duvet is soft. Color is beautiful, I bought the black one. I read the other review that said the fabric ran so I washed in cold water and rinsed with vinegar. Comforter came out beautiful, with color intact. I am buying another one.
I received this last night and decided I much preferred the striped reverse side, only to discover three large dirty patches! I have already sent back something else from the same order, and I think they'll come out in the wash, so I won't be returning it. However, I have no idea how the dirt got all the way in the inside of a folded garment. It's pretty disappointing and would make me rethink ordering this particular brand again. I love Overstock and don't believe it's their fault. Otherwise, the duvet is very soft and will look nice on my bed.
