The Artist known as Hava was born in 1962, in Israel. He immigrated with his family to the United States in the late 1970s, bringing with him a lifetime of memories from his native Middle Eastern culture. He says, 'I use each day to bring my past to the lives of my children and all who appreciate my art.'
On taking up residency in New York City, he brought those memories of the people and landscape to life through his art. As a clarinet player in the jazz clubs of New York, he dreamed of the day his first-loved art form would be acclaimed enough to earn him the respect of his peers and his family. Working the spring and summer art shows of the area, his landscape and figurative art began to be noticed for its detail and beauty. A show at an East Village gallery brought his art before the collectors and critics of New York City. Moving west in the late 1990s, Hava broadened his work to cover all aspects of his Middle Eastern culture. He settled in Sante Fe, New Mexico, with his wife and 2 young children.

I feel the warm sun wash over me as I stare into the azul waters of the picture. The contrast in colors is brilliant. I absolutely love looking at it.My only wish is that I didn't have to frame it myself. Other than that I am more than pleased with the purchase.
....Don't be fooled like I was. This is a print --like, off a nice colored printer. There are no artist touch-up brush strokes and it certainly is not an original or a reproduction. The colors are nice and it's big, but again don't expect an original painting. It's a print of a painting.
I was more than pleased when I received this piece. What a bargain! I put it in a glass black frame & hung it in my guest bathroom. (You can trim the canvas if you need to,there was about an inch-inch 1/2 of white canvas around the actual picture)..Colors are very relaxing & the detail is amazing. This is the 3rd piece of art I have bought at Overstock,you can find some great deals here,all pieces were of great quality & have gone up in price,as I'm sure this awesome canvas art will.
