these are mediocre however they are also cheap. so you get what you pay for! they are a thin metal that warps easily if dropped or knocked against something and they do not retain heat well, or distribute heat evenly. BUT since the majority of cooking i do is boiling water kind of stuff and nothing super fancy, they work fine for me. I just wouldn't attempt anything that needs the lid secure (since the pots are all wonky and the lid doesn't fit perfectly after i dropped one accidentally) If you are looking for a 'great deal' on decent quality pots and pans i would look somewhere else and pay the extra money. If you are looking for cheap replacements for the ugly/mediocre hand-me-downs you have had for wayyyy too long (like me) then these are a good idea.
When I first got the set the handle was broken off the big pot. Called and they shipped me a new one within a week. Within 2 weeks the coating has flaked and the metal on the handle has rusted on 2 of the pans. Went to a local store and bought a new set for only alittle more than what you pay for these.
These are nice quality for a college student. Not top of the line but adequate for the first set for my son.

I bought three sets of these pots and pans for my grandchildren . All three are graduating with their masters in college this December. I am setting them up in their own households and decided, after checking around many department stores to try Overstock.com I am very pleased with the quality of the merchandise and mostly the affordable prices. Thanks for your help.
