This metal folding garment rack really fits the bill....easy to put together, easy to store, holds more than enough for us. Nice design, and is solidly constructed....would buy more again if needed..
This is SO much better than hanging a line in the cellar and getting tangled up in it! And, this holds as much clothing as a line back and forth in my basement. I can easily bring it outside for really fresh smelling clothes - or, quicker drying time (especially thick sweaters).
Love my purchase. Easy to put together, you need to assemble from inside of base. Then screw base plate on. You also need some sand, stones or a weight which you insert into a bag to weight down the coat tree. Easy to assemble. Lower pegs of coat rack are good height for the children to hang their own coats and access them. The weir in the base means it won't topple if they pull the coat while it is on the peg. Overall - i am very happy I found a good looking wood coat rack. Worth the price in my view.
The unit is very sturdy. My only concern is the size. It should be wider so more clothes can be hung.
This laundry drying rack folds nearly flat for easy storage, which is great for apartments. We bought it to dry cloth diapers out in the sun, but haven't used it yet in that capacity. But we did use it to dry some delicates -- lots of room on this rack for several table cloths, sweaters, tights, and undergarments.
