I have to admit that I was very skeptacle before I purchased this chair. I had never seen anything like it and I was worried about hanging it somewhere. But after I got it I was so suprised. The chair came with everything needed to hang it and it was really easy to hang. It took me 10 minutes! This chair is the most comfortable thing I have ever sat in. It seems as if all muscles relax and I just can't help but forget about all my worries. Really a fun chair. I have it hanging from a beam on my covered porch and I've never had a more favorite place to relax, read a book, day dream. Thinking about hanging one in my house to watch T.V. I would reccomend this chair to anyone, after a hard day of gardening their is no better spot to relax. A+++ Thanks Overstock!

I bought this chair so that I could spend some time outside while I read (I'm a student). The problem is that I keep falling asleep in it. It's incredibly comfortable and the slight rocking make it my favorite (but least productive) place to be. The only problem is that I am concerned about how it will endure the weather where I live. The instructions say to take it inside when not in use, but it's really too awkward to carry easily. I took it in twice and found that I had scratched and dented the wooden arms, so I'm just going to leave it out under the tree. I had considered getting one of the more traditional chair swings, but they are sometimes difficult to get out of. This one is no problem. I'm very pleased with my purchase, even if I have to find a different place to read.

We love this swing. It is very durable and so easy to sit in. It is so hard to get out, because it is so comfortable! I bought 2 of them. They are very stylish, and made of great material, and the wood frame make it very elegant and rich. I absolutely refer this to everyone. I was more than happy with this purchase. It was delivered very quickly also. 5 stars all the way around!!

I hung these chairs under my deck on a beautiful afternoon. My girlfriend and I did not want to get out of them because they were so comfortable. A couple of the knots had to be adjusted and my fingers were sore the next day from that. The quality of the wood finish is poor, but for outdoor furntiture I suppose they will pass. You're really not getting much in the way of materials, several feet of nylon rope, a couple of sq yard of denier cloth, two finished wooden dowels and arm rests. The cost is for the design and style. Still worth it.

I bought this and its an ideal chair you feel like your floating in air. Kick back and relax.

I had the crossbars on my hammock that were cut crooked and I called their service line and they sent me replacements but they were worst then the the originals, bad quality control, I had to re-cut the part to get it to work. After about an hour in my shop I got it repaired, but it is a relaxing hammock.

I've purchased a lot of things through Overstock, and have been generally happy with most of the things I've received. This is the first time I've felt the need to post a review. I read through the other reviews before I made my purchase, and decided that the overwhelming "pros" out weighed the few "cons." When the product arrived (earlier than expected, I might add) I was distressed to find that the arm rests were split right through the middle. The wood isn't broken, just split. I'm hoping some industrial wood glue will fix the problem for me, but I suggest you look elsewhere for a hanging chair.

This chair is very comfy and I love to sit in it and read or just relax. You won't be dissapointed if you purchase this product.

This chair is wonderful! I read all the great reviews before buying it and was hoping they would all be true... but was still skeptical. Fortunately, all the positive reviews were accurate. (I am grateful for them- they talked me into buying the chair, which is why I write this now). The chair is well made, durable and sooooo comfortable. It was easily put together (less than a 1/2 hour) and hung. The chair supports the entire back of you.... legs, head, back etc. for perfect relaxation... the only other things you need are a cool drink and a breeze! A must buy!

I ordered this chair in green last week - it was here in a matter of days. I bought it because of the good reviews - they were right! The chair came well-wrapped inside the box by the manufacturer. It's an easy thing to assemble, tools included with the chair, just be careful of where the nylon rope is when you tighten the nuts down and be careful of the wood as the protective finish is thin and it's easy to scratch during assembly. I might add a coat of polyurythane to extend the life of the wood on mine. I can see why they recommend bringing it inside when not in use. The wooden arms add a nicer touch to the chair than some of the others offered, especially if you plan to hang it on your patio. We had to fuss with the ropes a bit to get the balance right but it's a great chair, really fabulous value for the $$ - check around online - you'll see! You can almost buy two of these from Overstock for what they cost elsewhere. My neighbor has claimed it as hers when she comes over for coffee and plans on buying one for herself. SO comfortable, nice looking, sturdy, great value! FAST shipping as usual! I highly recommend this.

Wow! What a great Hammaka Nami Chair. I just couldn't wait to get it! This chair is the most comfortable Hammock chair that I have ever sat in. My neighbor came over to try it out and I couldn't get her out of the chair. Very well constructed and easy to assemble, I would very easily buy another one, in fact my son is going to buy the Hammaka Double Nami I give this chair 5 stars!!!!!!

I bought two of these in maroon for our front porch. I would have preferred the beige, but it wasn't an option. Regardless, the chairs were easy to assemble and are super comfortable. We had to make sure and find a stud in the porch ceiling to support the weight of someone in the swing, but otherwise they seem to be very low maintenance. I don't know how durable they are as we just got them and live in SoCal where the weather is very mild, but so far so good. They certainly look sturdy!

i bought the swing as a gift for my son he was pleased with it and says every one should have one

The holes on one of the bars do not line up making it impossible to assemble. I have tried for 2 weeks to get in touch with someone at Hammaka and no one responds.

Love this chair so much, I bought two! Super comfortable, easy to hang and take care of, you can easily fall asleep in this chair. My downgrades were for three main reasons: 1. The two plastic tensioners on one chair snapped in half after only a few days of using this chair. I'm on the heavy side, and the plastic just snapped in two - surprising for sure, but not a fatal flaw. I don't think it does anything, it isn't mentioned in the instructions, and the only use I can see it for is it might act as a stop or marker for adjusting the angle of the seat back. Nevertheless, even though both are now useless it doesn't seem to affect the chair at all. 2. The instructions are pretty poor. There is no inventory of parts. And there were parts included that weren't in the instructions (the plastic covers for the ends of the bolts - easy enough to figure out but someone else might be stumped). Although the chair was very easy to put together.and finally 3. The finish on some of the wood pieces is sub-standard (visible drips, minor scratches). Nothing too visible, so again it wasn't something I'd return. I love these chairs though, they're comfortable, stylish, the foot rest and can holder are great, I love that they don't take up floor space on the porch (sweep under them, push them out of the way if need be), the dogs love sleeping below them and getting petted while I lounge, and they're a great addition to my porch.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase. We bought two and are now thinking of getting two more. One on the deck and one on the dock,,,,,,,,,,,,,,will see how the one on the dock weathers.

Incredibly comfortable! I bought 2 of these last spring to suspend from our pergola. We enjoyed them all summer and put them into the shed to store through the winter. The finish is peeling off the wood and the fabric has faded after one year of use. The critical construction parts are all still perfectly functional, but the cosmetics of the chairs are less appealing than we'd expect after only one year of use. We still use and love them, I just wish they held up better over time.

this swing is not for outdoor use. i would get one of the other ones instead.

I got the chairs in great time. They are great quality and I love them.
