The rug was as pictured, but slightly muted. Excellent quality, it is nice and thick!

This rug is perfect. My only thought is that I should have bought a larger one. Very thick pile, no shedding. Bright colors, with light beiges and bright reds. If you don't like the reds, don't buy. They do add a pop of color. I would recommend, and buy again!

The color and thickness of this rug are ideal. When vacuuming it sheds quite a lot. Overall I am quite happy with this rug.

I bought 2 of these rugs. One a 16 inch runner and the other a 9 by 12 area rug. The runner came rolled up and laid out perfectly. The larger rug was folded and has deep creases in it that I hope will come out. Not too much shedding yet as others have mentioned. HOWEVER, I too am bothered that the rugs were made in China. It is not in the description. The other rugs that I have ordered from overstock say the country of origin. I have purchased beautful ones from India and Pakistan. All from Overstock and well made. I love the Tribal Rugs but would not have bought from China, if I had known.

This was my first purchase of several rugs from overstock.com. The rug is beige colored and has unrecognizable odd shaped symbols. I will keep the rug and use it to have my wrestling matches on. I bought some more rugs from overstock.com and was pleased with them. The pictured rug is yellow and gold, but that is not what the rug looks like.

The rug is much more muted than in the photo's online, but the rug is still quite beautiful and thick. Some shedding, but not much. Looks very nice in my dining room with dark wood panels

I debated for months about buying a rug over the internet. I am so glad I took the plunge and bought this one. The colors are perfect and not muted but subtle. The colors are a true gold around the border and "pops" of burgandy red scattered throughout the rug. The design in the middle of the rug is more of a blue and not green. I am not a "blue" person at all but for some reason this doesn't bother me. I think the unique shapes add character to the rug. I have not had a problem with it shedding at all. The rug is in my foyer and makes a statement when you walk in without being overwhelming. I am very happy with my purchase.

I read all of the reviews and thought this rug would work in my living room. Sorry to say it doesn't. This rug isn't as vivid as the picture and it just looks a little cheap to me. My husband says it's ok but for the rug you see when coming into our home it doesn't work for me.

Orderd two sizes of this rug. They came very quickly and in good shape. The colors are more muted than the picture shows but they work well in my rooms. There was a slight smell that disappeared after a few days and they have been shedding a little but not bad. The one thing that really bothered me was that they don't tell you they are made in China, it just says imported. The other rugs tell you where they are made so this bothered me a little. I try not to buy things made in China. Seems to be a good value we will see how they hold up.

Overstock shipped this rug to us in record-fast time. The rug itself is more beige/tan than it appears in the picture. In fact, the tones are overall more muted than they appear. However, it is stil a very pretty rug for the price. I am very satisfied with the purchase and the quick shipping.

The colors on this rug are beige/yellow mostly, with patches of burgundy red and sage-light blue. it is true that the shapes on the rug are a little weird. I'm not sure if I LOVE the shapes, but overall I figure for the price I paid this rug is pretty good value. I'd recommend it to a friend, but be warned that for this price, don't expect something too spectacular. I wasn't wowed, but i wasnt disappointed either.

The rug is a good value. I have it in the same vacinity as expensive hand made Persian rugs, and you can definately tell the difference. The shapes on this rug are a little strange looking. It is very plush and I have had no shedding. It serves the purpose for which it was intended - to cover hardwood floor.

My husband was away when this was delivered. I have it in our foyer. He could not believe how beautiful it was when he walked in the door. He thought I bought it at an expensive carpet store. The colors are actually more vivid than shown on the computer. The quality is outstanding for the price. I am so happy I finally pulled the trigger and bought it.

I ordered this rug in two sizes so I will probably write a longer review for the larger size. This rug lies in the front entry to my home, on a neutral tile floor. Excellent choice. To me it's a cross between very traditional oriental design and "funky" contemporary. I have traditional furnishings. Leather furniture and Stickley end tables, etc. I do not have a contemporary bone in my body. And this rug provides a focal point without being overwhelming. Couldn't be happier. This rug makes me smile.
