This runner is thick and is wearing well. I would recommend it to anyone. It adds a nice splash of color in our hallway. We love it!

I purchased the runner to check the colors and quality before purchasing a larger area rug. The colors are sage, gold and mauve/burgundy and a touch of blue on an ivory background. I noticed that the runner is a 'second' but it did not deter me from purchasing the room size rug I was looking for. I don't think anyone will notice the slight imperfections. Once the furniture was in place you couldn't tell the difference between this rug and the one I purchased from a high end store. The colors are beautiful, though not exactly how described or appeared in the photos. In reading some of the reviews on other rugs, I've chosen something other than my first choice because of the color differences in the descriptions.

I bought the hand tufted Traditions Ivory Wool and Silk Runner (2'3 x 12') with this one and they both matched perfectly to use them as stair runners. It is beautiful and a wonderful value - I am very happy. Don't hesitate if you like the pattern - it is elegant and comfortable to walk on!
