    • REASON IT AND OTHERS ARE SO CHEAP AT OS.COM

      At first we loved these runners. Looked great. Very thick. First off - we ordered 2 and one of them is about 1.5 inches wider than the other. While size of rugs will vary -- that is too much given the 2'3" width. Turns out that was the least of our problems. It sheds -- I don't mean a little -- I MEAN MAJOR SHEDDING PROBLEM. I am convinced it you vacuum them long enough the entire carpet will disappear. We vacuum and 3 days later there are huge dust balls all over the hall. You can see them sitting on the surface of the rug and all around the edges. Worst of all these are in a hall that has carpeted stairs in a deep burgandy. We noticed that the first 3-4 steps of our burgandy carpet are almost always white -- solely from the white fuzz off these carpets. A good thorough vacuuming lasts 3 days at most before the hall is full of fiber balls from the carpet. Today a I cleaned them and I filled 2 grocery sacks full of wet fuzz. Seriously - I don't know how there is any carpet left. After cleaning I took my finger and rubbed a little square -- still endless fuzz. Shortly, we will junk these and go to and buy some quality runners. You get what you pay for -- and in this case - that is a cheap, poorly made, Chinese product.

      • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? It is a light background than pictured or descriped -- very light
      • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Poor -- this thing sheds like a cheap suit. It never stops.
      • How accurate was the on site description of the product? pretty accurated -- the leave out of this rug and most of the others COUNTRY OF ORIGIN - IT IS CHINA -- AND IT IS THE TYPICAL CHEAP "MADE IN CHINA" PRODUCT

      Nice runner. Soft and plush. It has an ivory background, not gold as depicted. I would recommend this for a neutral choice. The length and width were perfect for my setting. The price was very reasonable compared to similar sized products in stores. This neutral color, however, was impossible to find in a store near me.

    • Great rug runner

      Great looking rug and well worth the money. I am very pleased with the deep pile and excellent workmanship. Like previously noted, the color is definately not gold (yellow) . Mine was closer to a very light beige or as some have said an ivory. But after reading the reviews before ordering, the color was just what I expected.

      I would recommend this runner to anyone. But as in the other review the yellow is absolutely ivory. It worked perfectly for me as I had two other rugs with an ivory background that I got at Overstock.
