Handmade Traditions Isfahan Black/ Burgundy Wool and Silk Rug (8' Round)

I read just about every review on most 8' round rugs on your web site before making my decision to purchase this rug. The reviews stated that it came in much darker than the picture on the web site and I am so happy it did because I wanted it darker and that's what I got. The quality is wonderful and it looks great with my black dinette set. I also order a pad to go underneath it and now I wish I had waited to see if I really needed it because I don't. Now I'm stuck with an 8 X 12 pad that I can't use

As far as Overstock goes, I'd like to say the shipping was very fast and rug arrived well packed.The rug is very well made. Nice and plush. It is a Safavieh rug.I'm NOT very pleased with the color representation and description. The rug appears more muted online with different color tones. It would be very helpful if Overstock and the reviewers would list all colors. Reviews saying the rug is "pretty" does not help other people decide if the colors will work for their home.Here's the colors as I see them:The gold isn't a true gold but more of a mustard yellow. The green earlier today I swear was sage but looking this evening it does look olive but light! I think it would work with either. My walls are olive and it looks good.The outside edge is black.1st boarder - light olive, ivory, rosey clay color, mid range blue (not as dark as navy), a brown that's the color of coffee when you add milk.2nd boarder - My accent color in the room is berry red. This color is deeper but can pass for a crimson red and works with the red in my room. Burgundy is deep and rich, same colors I just listed in the first boarder plus a little crisp white, and a rusty salmon/peach color. 3rd boarder - same as 1st boarder. 4th boarder - On my monitor I thought this color was a different shade of red. It's actually the rusty salmon/peach. Also has the same colors of the first boarder. Middle - The black is a nice deep black. Has all those colors in the middle.Keep in mind if you buy this rug that rusty salmon/peach color is pretty noticeable. Luckily my main red fabric in the room has that same color!I do wish it had gold and more of it.The rug did have a smell when we opened it. It's the next day and it's gone. Probably was from the packaging.I haven't noticed any shedding so far.Overall the rug works for my room and IS very pretty. Looks and is of good quality. Great price. I will buy from Overstock again. I hope my review can help someone make that decision!

I bought the 6' round rug. It arrived very well wrapped. I put it underneath my dining table (which is round) and it instantly add classy look to the room. The colors are beautiful and it is very well made. No wonder -- because it's a Safavieh rug! I highly recommend this rug to anyone looking to add a little color and warmth to any room in their house!
