This rug has a really great pattern and seems immune to the elements since it's made of plastic, which is one of the reasons I was drawn to it for my outdoor patio. However, it's important to note that the color is different in person. I was drawn to the deep but vibrant earthy tones -- the saturated dark orange and red (aka, "blood orange"). In person, it is definitely not blood orange. I would say the orange has much more of a orange sherbet/melon quality to it -- it's even got a tinge of faded neon orange, if that makes any sense. Definitely not an earthy orange. And the red is a fairly bright red, definitely not that crimson/burgundy color I imagined it would be. It's still a fun and festive rug, but good to be aware that the colors are brighter & lighter than the photo. Also, I definitely wouldn't consider this an indoor rug. It is very thin and made of plastic -- almost like a plastic beach mat. It seems great for outdoors, as long as you are ok with minimal height/thickness.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Different: less earthy and subtle
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Fine for what it is (it's thin & plastic), definitely an outdoor rug
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Accurate except for color
LOVE this! The color, the design, the quality is beyond what I expected. And the best feature is how easy it is to clean, use a broom, vacuum or damp sponge to clean. I hope T. Felicia and Overstock will have more area rugs like this in the future!
