Handmade Soho Vine Light Blue New Zealand Wool Rug (8' Square)

Wonderful rug. It's soft, not too thick. It goes with both old and new style of furniture. I have a 1930's craftsman type bungalow and there is wood everywhere. I wanted a more modern touch to the room instead of a traditional rug and this did the trick. I have both old and new pieces with espresso accents that go really well with this. I intended to put it under the dining room table at first but ended up putting it in the formal living room. I prefer the square size as it fills the room quite well.

I love this rug. It is perfect for my living room. It is heavybweight and laid out smoothly and quickly. It is thick and heavy enough to be used w/o a rug mat underneath. It is wool and there has been some shedding, but it is minimal and may be caused by my dog rolling on it...he absolutely loves this rug because it is warm and soft.

We ordered this rug to go in our orange dining room thinking that the goldish/orange looking branch would tie it in with the walls and that the grayish background would look nice (rather than be a safe matchy matchy brown and orange look). When the rug arrived I put it in the dining room and the teal background made the walls look very 80s and the branches (which are much more muted in person) didn't match at all. Needless to say it didn't work at all. We did, however, move this to our living room that has darker brown walls and it looks fantastic. We will be keeping the rug for that room but were disappointed that it differed so much from the picture that we had to go in another direction for our dining room. I would still recomment this rug to others, but beware that the colors do differ than what you see online.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. This rug seems to be very high quality - its pile is very thick and tight. Just after purchasing it, I saw the exact same rug in another company's magazine, priced at over $800.
