I purchased this rug along with the matching 6ft square for my redecorated living area. I loved the way these rugs looked in my room. However, after the rugs had been down for a week or two I noticed that they were doing more than the normal shed you get from wool rugs. The Burst on the rugs are unsecured ribbons that not only FRAY but will COME OUT when vacuumed. Sure this rug looks nice but if you plan on actually walking on the rug or cleaning it I wouldn't suggest buying it…….. Keep in mind OVERSTOCK 30 day return policy; otherwise you are stuck with a problematic rug! I was able to get one rug returned for a refund, but the other I am sending back without a clue as to what my refund will be due to the purchase being past the 30 day time frame. I have had this rug for almost a year now. Initially I was very pleased. I love the pattern, the colors and the density of the pile. However, after some time, a few issues came to light. The pattern is of a material similar to ribbon and it unravels much like ribbon when vacuuming with a beater brush. Also the rug still sheds, and I have large brown carpet bunnies that float across my hardwood floors. Maybe if I had just vacuumed the rug with the hard floor attachment I wouldn't have the unraveling issue. I don't know. It's an awfully large rug to vacuum that way. Overall I do love the way it looks and it certainly met my expectations in that aspect. I'm just disappointed that the pattern isn't holding up very well.

Rug looks exactly as pictured, very well made, tightly knit, does not shed, is very thick and plush. Seen it on other websites and it is the lowest priced on Overstock. If you need a rug like this, get it now before it's too late and sells out. Very happy with this buy.

I was so excited about finding this 8x8 foot square carpet! We purchased it and after having it down for a week i sent it back. The brown wool carpet was shedding terrible and the starbursts were made of raised synthetic pieces that completely came out while sweeping and if they didn't come out they frayed. Very poor quality and cheep looking. I would not recommend this product!

I love the rug The colors really pop and make a satatement. I have had a lot of people coment on it. and how nice it looks on the hardwood floor. My only complaint is my white dog also loves the rug and the white dog hair really shows so must vacuum every day.

love these rugs--i bought 2 runners, a 6 foot round, an 8 foot square, and a 2 x 3 for the door; very pretty, great quality; very heavy rugs to "shake out"---much better off vacuuming, although i would strongly recommend bare floor setting on vacuum since any vacuum will pull threads and cause runners, maybe not initially but certainly over time

I've only had this rug for a month, so I can't review it's durability. I can, however, say that it's beautiful, and I LOVE the colors. It's very soft to the touch, and easy to vacuum. I receive compliments constantly! Overall, I'm more than pleased with it... and I purchased it at such a reasonable price!

This rug is perfect for the area I needed it in. It is contemporary and eye catching. The only challenge is keeping it clean. When I vacuum it my Dyson pulls the longer fibers of the flowers. So I have been using a much less powerful hand vac, that takes much longer to clean the carpet.

This rug is absolutely beautiful. The colors orange and red are very vibrant. I love it!

Have received several "Wows" by guests. Easy to vacuum and the different textures from the star burst patterns in the rug feels good on your feet.

I wanted an area rug that would give some pop to my dark floors and this one does just that. I am very happy with the quality and look of the rug. The photo does not do it justice.
