Rug is SO much better in person
I ordered this rug after tearing out carpet and painting the concrete floor of our hallway dark chocolate brown. I wanted something different and something that would pop against the brown. Does it ever! I did read the reviews first so I was prepared for the bursts to stand higher than the rug. This makes the whole feel of the rug! My boys loved walking on it and feeling it under their feet. They call it "fireworks' instead of starbursts. We've had it about 4 months now. It does shed some, as with any wool rug and we've had a couple of the starburst ribbon pieces come out but no more than I would expect. We have owned aubuson (sp?) rugs that would leave huge wool hairballs everywhere. This does not shed anything like that. I vacuum as I would any rug and have had no issues at all. We are looking to order a larger size for our home office that was just painted the blue color in the rug.

Love the rugs
I bought the runner and the smaller one. Both of these are on carpet and they stay put. I really like both of them. They are thick and I think good quality. So glad I made this choice.

Fabulous!
Looks great! Perhaps not quite as blue as it appeared on my monitor. I was not expecting the starburst to be such a different texture, but I love it. I think the starburst are probably a synthetic fiber, so I am not sure how it was classified as 100% wool; however, the effect is fantastic.

Love the style it brings to our hall way
We have received so many compliments on our rugs;) people are always asking us were we got them. I got two since we gave a very long hallway, we like the appearance, though we have had them now for about 5 months and there are pieces that come out of the round rug part that our baby is picking up and handing us. The rug also seems to shed a lot of small fibers.

Pretty runner, well made. The colors go perfectly with my curtains from jcpenny. It fits nicely at the foot of my bed. Good purchase, you will be happy with it.

Good Quality, 3-D bursts
It's a great value for the rug, but I really would have like to know about the 3-D bursts. I wanted to trim it when I got it, but the bf wouldn't let me.
