just recieved my rug yesterday . It is beautifull ! ! ! It is a great bargain . I have really seen it for twice the price. The picture is accurate ,but there is just no way to see its true beauty in a photo . I love it and it looks just the way I wanted for my formal dining room . Thank you overstock !
This is truly a work of art and is reflected in its obvious hand made qualities. Everyone who has seen this rug has to make a comment and I might add they're all positive. Rug cleans up after spills with Oxy Clean and a scrub brush. Almost everyone is afraid to walk on it for fear they'll do it damage. Would certainly recommend this rug to anyone who has an eye for beauty and appreciates the aesthetics it lends to any room. This rug is HEAVY wool and cotton and does shed. But shedding is expected with wool rugs so bear this in mind when purchasing. Because its hand made it has some flaws if scrutinized with the same eye as you might judge a machine made carpet, however this only lends itself to the beauty of the rug and the ambiance it brings to your home decor. Would definitely recommend this rug to anyone who appreciates the finer things in life.
We just layed this carpet last week. It is as good looking as the picture online. The rug is heavy and thick and made from wool. The label says it is made in India without using child labor. The patterns on the surface are what are called 'hand tufted". Those tufts have a tendency to pull out when the rug is new. We are hoping it quits after a while. It causes little wool puffs to form on the rug that need to be picked up. We haven't vacuumed the rug so I can't comment on whether the vacuum will pull out more fibers from the tufts. If it were not for that problem I would have rated the carpet 5 stars all around. If the problem doesn't go away I will try to add that information. That will take weeks to know.
I recently purchased this rug and absolutely love it. The burst patterns are raised above the rest of the rug which gives it a wonderful texture and feels great under your feet. Everyone that has seen it loves it.
I love this rug. REALLY! It's thick, plush and has wonderful texture. I haven't had any issue with pilling or shedding. Although it's beige the contrast with the dark brown and golden beige starbursts are just enough to keep it from looking too beige. I've purchased 4 rugs from Overstock and have yet to be disappointed.
