The silky appearance and feel of these damask-like patterns is the result of premium quality New Zealand wool enhanced with mercerized Belgian linen viscose. The designs blend influences from the east and west with French-inspired damask motifs in a softened color palette combined with traditional tree of life cypress borders. This floor rug has a rust background and a rust border and displays stunning panel colors of light and dark rust.

Note Viscose in material
The quality and materials were not what was expected for an 8' runner over $200. Because the two colors are very similar, the design is difficult to see. It appears more like carpeting. It also has a smell that I am not sure will go away. But, not noticing that it contains viscose in the material description was my fault...I was misled by the heading into believing that it was 100% New Zealand Wool.
