This is a great rug - it looks excellent. It does behave like suede where when you rub an area, that area appears slightly lighter colored compared to the rest of the rug. I think it adds a lot of visual appeal. It's also really soft and feels great! The shags are about 1.5 inches long and are very thin. Highly recommended.

I chose this rug because the description said it was a plush wool / polyester blend. It is actually made of 'artifical silk" which, according to Wikipedia, is often rayon. The pile is made up of very thin, shiny yarns that have a slick feel. While it did not turn out to be what I thought I was getting, it is still a pretty rug. More contemporary than I had expected. I have not yet vacuumed it so I do not know how it will hold up.

This was the perfect rug for us. HOWEVER, it is not the color it says online. We ordered the black and when we got it it is a mix of black and brown. When we called them they said they had lots of people return it for this reason. Not sure about the other colors. But the rug was perfect! We were very disappointed. I only have the rug 4 stars because of the color problem. Otherwise I would have given it 5. It's a great rug especially for the price!!

I have over six rugs in my home, this one is in my formal modern living room and it works perfect! It is very soft to the touch and luxurious. I bought the ivory color, it's on the white side of ivory. Also, it cleans up fantastic! My dog urinated on it and it all came right up out of the rug with a little carpet cleaning product. I was shocked and thrilled it cleaned up so easy! Love this rug!
