Color mismatch
I went with the other reviews that said the picture represented the color well, but should have added more weight to the reviewer who said her rug was more pink/mauves. I think I got her rug or a rug from the same dye lot. Overstock needs to have multiple pictures of different rugs of the same pattern. The rug I received (which came quickly and was well-packed) WAS more pink, mauve, and lilac. There were no rich reds, olive greens, browns, or blacks as the picture shows. Purchase with caution.

originally ordered this rug from homedecorators, and it was on back order for over 2 months. finally canceled my order, and found it on overstock for over $500 less -- same rug! -- including the shipping. ordered it on a friday and got it on monday! it's gorgeous! couldn't be happier

very plush
I just unrolled this 8X10 rug last night. It arrived quickly and wel packaged. It is beautiful, plush and extremely soft. It is true that the colors are slightly lighter than pictured. It is perfect for our house because I have colored walls. It just looks fantastic in a family room.

I am quite happy with this rug. I read all the reviews so I knew exactly what to expect in terms of the colors in the pattern and was not disappointed at all. Colors are more dark green, mauves, purples, blues, and maroon as people have stated. A very nice rug though and I've received many compliments. A great value I think.

GREAT VALUE!!
After shopping around at various local stores for a large, wool area rug and finding nothing (of decent quality) for under $600.00, I decided to go with this rug. It seemed like a great price for a wool rug. I did read the reviews that said there were a lot more pinks and lavenders then the picture depicts, but that's ok with me because those colors would complement my living room. Anyways, the rug is beautiful. The colors ARE mostly pinks and lavenders, with some brick red, dark and light blue, orange, cream, and shades of green and brown included. The quality is outstanding. It's very soft on the feet. After looking at MANY rugs, this rug ranks up in the higher quality examples I was checking out. This is no cheap wool rug being passed off for an "outstanding" price. This is an expensive, well made wool rug, being passed off for an outstanding price!! I highly recommend this rug, just keep in mind the color differences so you won't be disappointed. It arrived in a timely matter (In about a week), and was rolled in plastic to protect it. Who can beat $1 for shipping???

Absolutely Amazing!
This rug is much more beautiful and plush than we could have imagined. The colors are more vibrant than pictured, and it brightens up our dining room tremendously. We are so pleased with our Overstock purchases!

This rug gives me ADD
I have totally mixed emotions about this rug. It looks awesome in the photo. And I read all the reviews, so I ordered with caution. I feel like this rug looks completely different at all times of day. Sometimes it looks modern and funky. Sometimes it looks grandmotherly and pink / purple. In the morning and late afternoon when there is sun in the window, I don't like it. At night when I can control the lighting better, it's easier to get used to. I have been going back and forth since I bought this rug a week ago and I can't decide if I hate it, hence why I refuse to say I wouldn't recommend the rug. I'm a guy, and this rug definitely pushes the gender boundary for me. It's just too pink. I keep thinking if I pick out one of the less girly colors and paint a wall or something, it might mute it a bit. I kind of feel like I'd be embarrassed to have anyone come over and see this rug. It is a cool, fun rug in theory. There is just so much going on in this rug that I can't put my finger on it. Ultimately, I think I'll be sending it back, but it's such a pain to think about, I'm trying to convince myself otherwise. If you want this rug, be prepared to do some soul searching / switch out paint colors / change lighting to accent the hues you want to see. I do not want a pink / purple rug. And for at least half of the day, this rug looks pink.

Wow!
Ordered this rug really wanting to brighten a living room. Mission accomplished! Huge variety of colors in varying hues. Predominately in tans, beiges, but has variety of greens, violets, cinnamon, navy, gold, maroon. No red at all, if that is important to you. Our couch is a pretty beige, creamy gold walls and a leather recliner which is way more purple than I want to admit. This rug ties everything together really well. I love it. We experienced no shedding or any problems whatsoever. Ordered on a early Sunday morning, laid in our room Wednesday. Well done, Overstock!
