Color mismatch
I went with the other reviews that said the picture represented the color well, but should have added more weight to the reviewer who said her rug was more pink/mauves. I think I got her rug or a rug from the same dye lot. Overstock needs to have multiple pictures of different rugs of the same pattern. The rug I received (which came quickly and was well-packed) WAS more pink, mauve, and lilac. There were no rich reds, olive greens, browns, or blacks as the picture shows. Purchase with caution.

originally ordered this rug from homedecorators, and it was on back order for over 2 months. finally canceled my order, and found it on overstock for over $500 less -- same rug! -- including the shipping. ordered it on a friday and got it on monday! it's gorgeous! couldn't be happier

very plush
I just unrolled this 8X10 rug last night. It arrived quickly and wel packaged. It is beautiful, plush and extremely soft. It is true that the colors are slightly lighter than pictured. It is perfect for our house because I have colored walls. It just looks fantastic in a family room.

Very nice!
I am quite happy with this rug. I read all the reviews so I knew exactly what to expect in terms of the colors in the pattern and was not disappointed at all. Colors are more dark green, mauves, purples, blues, and maroon as people have stated. A very nice rug though and I've received many compliments. A great value I think.

GREAT VALUE!!
After shopping around at various local stores for a large, wool area rug and finding nothing (of decent quality) for under $600.00, I decided to go with this rug. It seemed like a great price for a wool rug. I did read the reviews that said there were a lot more pinks and lavenders then the picture depicts, but that's ok with me because those colors would complement my living room. Anyways, the rug is beautiful. The colors ARE mostly pinks and lavenders, with some brick red, dark and light blue, orange, cream, and shades of green and brown included. The quality is outstanding. It's very soft on the feet. After looking at MANY rugs, this rug ranks up in the higher quality examples I was checking out. This is no cheap wool rug being passed off for an "outstanding" price. This is an expensive, well made wool rug, being passed off for an outstanding price!! I highly recommend this rug, just keep in mind the color differences so you won't be disappointed. It arrived in a timely matter (In about a week), and was rolled in plastic to protect it. Who can beat $1 for shipping???

Rug Still Shedding
I wish I had listened to the other reviewers about this rug shedding.I waited two years before I reviewed this product and the rug is still shedding. The first few times that I tried vacuuming this rug, my vacuum cleaner got clog. Colors are much softer/muted than pictured.

Rotten rug!
This rug is gross. It looks really cheap and the colors are more 80's pastels than the rich colors of the advertisement. Keeping it looking clean is a full-time job, there is lint all over it all the time on the parts we actually walk on. I am a residential interior designer and bought this for my own home and it was a huge error. I hate this rug.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. if you want a rug that needs to be vaccuumed twice a day, this is the one! so much lint kicks up every time you walk on it

Great color and quality
Great rug! I needed a modern looking rug that would be lively and help incorporate the wall color. This is the coolest room in the house now. It's our playroom and I don't have much furniture in the space. With this rug, I don't need much, it speaks for itself!
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color is different, but the balance is the same. I was concerned about some of the other reviews, but I'm really happy with the the way it looks. I like that it's not exactly what you see in the picture, maybe each rug is different. There is enough variety to make it work even if there are more deep mauve tones. I still have navy, cream, rust/brick red, green, blues, orange, it's really amazing how all the colors look good together!
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Awesome, very thick fibers. I was even surprised that the edges of the rectangles of color are beveled! Run a Dyson over it a few times and it won't shed as much.

Now If It Could Just Be the Color Shown!
My family and I LOVED this rug -- it's just too bad it wasn't the same color as depicted in the description or in the photo! I was so excited to get a vibrant, bold-colored rug...and instead got a very pretty, very pastel one. Those colors are nothing like what we decorate our family room with, so even though we loved the look of it, we couldn't justify keeping it at that cost. It did shed abundantly in the one day we had it out, so as long as other reviewers who kept theirs for longer say it works out in the end, I wouldn't worry too much about that.
