Handmade Rodeo Drive Modern Deco Rust/ Multi N.Z. Wool Rug (6' x 9')

Ordered this rug for our dining room after we installed bamboo flooring. The rug exceeded our expectations in quality, although it has less oranges & rust colors than we had hoped, and far more red, wine & burgundy. We expected it to be more "muted" in shading, having read the previous reviews. Overall, it blends well with our decor & we are mostly pleased with it.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? More wines and reds than expected, and very little rust colors as the name would suggest. Also more muted that portrayed. Still, a beautiful rug that blends in with most color schemes.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Excellent quality. Thicker than expected and not a lot of shedding.
• How accurate was the on site description of the product? Very accurate.

Thought I did write a review last year but this site is asking for one so I am providing. Beautiful rug! As pretty as several I saw locally for more than twice the price. One reviewer commented that it sheds and I ignored that and am sorry. Would not buy this again despite the beauty. Just sitting on the sofa with my feet on the rug produces piles of wool! I am not exagerating either! I pretty much have to vacuum 2-3 times per week and my vacuum is full each time. I am totally mystified as to how I can get this much fiber over a year and the rug is not completely "bald"! This rug must grow new "hair". Anyway it is soft and very beautiful but unless you love to vacuum take a pass!

This is a very soft and comfortable rug. Its beautiful and is a great addition to my living room! Its pulls all of the colors of my house together. My only issue is the constant pilling. I have to vacuum a few times a week, especially underneath where someone sits and rests their feet. I thought it would stop shedding after a few months, but I am still having to address this issue after owning the rug for almost 9 months.

When we received the rug it was well wrapped and protected. Once opened we realized it was actually better than we had expected. It is bright and the actual color is a perfect match for our decor. Looks like a cubist painting! It is thick and the wool is rich and very soft to walk on. It does not collect lint and is easy to vacuum. We also bought a non-skid pad which makes it even thicker. We are so pleased we bought this.
