I have been looking for a rug is primarily RED and this is it. The red is a rich, cherry red and is fabulous. So if your computer monitor shows it as burgundy or rust, etc. it is NOT those colors. It is RED. Nice thickness, true to the measurements provided, and looks really elegant. The rug is on wood flooring now and does tend to slide around. A rug pad is a necessity and I have already ordered one here at Overstock.

This is a great looking runner at a terrific price. I use it in my kitchen between the counter and the island where it gets alot of wear and holds up very well to traffic. Little tufts of wool do appear when sweeping it out but I hope it is just because it is new and settling in. I love it.

As usual, Overstock sold me just what I had been looking for. Needed this runner for a high traffic area from the living room and kitchen area to the bath and den. The carpeting always looked worn there. I will have to agree with another reviewer that it is more of a rust color than it is red. And, the navy colored border is really dark enough to be considered black. However, overall it is really a nice rug and is definetly worth the price.

I bought 2 of these runners several years ago to use in high traffic areas of the house. They are a sturdy, durable tight weave and are showing no signs of wear. I gave 4 stars for appearance only because the color is not true red but more of a rust, not quite what I was expecting. Nonetheless, they were a great buy and the reason I have come back today to purchase a different rug. Customer service was fantastic. I had an issue with one of the rugs. My rep was courteous, professional and promptly sent a replacement.

The rug is very nice, well made, thick and plush....but it's not really red. The color is more of a rust, not a red. If it's in a dark hallway it won't be that noticeable. My room colors are a deep red, cream, golds, etc.. but the rug is more a subdued color. Be sure before you buy.

Received this rug yesterday and we're very pleased! Thick, plush, feels great under the feet. Colors are rich and stunning; definitely looks like it cost more than it did. Great buy.
