Leather shag not a tight weave
Because it didn't give you a sample picture of the backing. It's not a tight weave like other leather shag rugs I have and the shag is loose, I don't think it will last as long as my others.

Looks great, hope it lasts
Rug looks great in my new kitchen and feels good underfoot. All kinds of stuff is invisible in the variety of natural earth tones of the shredded leather, but dislodges easily with a quick shake. Lost a few leather shreds in initial shakes, but hopefully the majority will be retained long term.

Luxurious Leather
It is very difficult to find a round rug - especially at this price. It gives the room the look I wanted to achieve. Kind of wished I purchased another. It truly is quality. Almost too nice to lay on the floor where people will walk on it.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Upon taking from packaging (man, was it packed!), I thought the rug seemed thin. Was I wrong; after setting it on the floor overnight, it plumped up and is georgeous

Exactly what I was expecting
It looks beautiful in my kitchen that is a rustic country theme. It does have some leather that fall out but not terribly bad. It has less light color than I thought it would, but is still very beautiful!
