The description says it's a water fountain, when, in fact, it is only a statue, and very small at that. We purchased it as a water fountain yet you would need to drill a hole for water to be released, and the material is so fragile, it would not withstand the drilling. It comes in pieces that are meant to be stacked, yet they are not very stable and the top piece toppled off and broke immediately.

This fountain looks quite lovely sitting in my garden but...It is comprised of 5 pieces: two bowls, two pedestals, and the top piece. The pieces were sent directly from Tunisia in two boxes and were extremely well packed. Oddly, the boxes arrived a week apart.The fountain is obviously handmade and hand painted. There are some flaws in the claywork but these do not in any way detract from the appearance.The pieces just sit one on top of the next so I am a little concerned that the fountain may tip over if one of my dogs brush against it. It does not have a pump or anything to sit in to use as the water resevoir. So, in order to make a functional water fountain I will need to buy: Something to use as a water basin, a pump, some kind of putty, caulk, or sealant to use to "stick" the pieces together.

The fountain is beautiful and arrived very well-packaged and in excellent condition. We are still trying to get an appropriate pump system that will get the fountain working.
