not as expected
I bought this product based on the many good reviews. I knew to expect a muted rug, with blues and grays . On a positive note, the rug arrived very quickly and shipping was very minimal. However, the rug did NOT look like the picture. I was not going to be too picky about the color varying, but the colors were very off, and what was very disappointing was the "pop" of reds. Where the rest of the tones were very muted, the reds stood out way too much and detracted from the beauty of the rug. They did not enhance the rug, but looked out of place. The pattern on the computer monitor was also not very visible when actually looking at it in person, which is why one of the other viewers probably thought it was a totally different rug. I thought of hiding it under our coffee table, but have decided to return it instead, and will probably pay a lot to ship. :(. I wish I had bought a smaller versian first to see it, then could have shipped that back more easily.

Beautiful Rug
When I unrolled the carpet, I noticed that the color was much more muted than I had expected, as other reviewers had forewarned. But it definitely grew on me. The carpet is very plush and a welcome addition to our family room. The only problem is that it does seem to shed a lot. I've vacuumed quite frequently, but it doesn't seem to go away... I suppose only time will tell. I just don't like have wool bunnies stuck to my clothes.

I love this rug, it is plush with subtle muted colors of blue/gray and taupe. I would highly recommend it if the colors work for you.

Excellent value
I received this rug within days of ordering it, and it was exactly as pictured online. It is subtle and very attractive. I have it in an area that has both muted and more bold upholstered pieces, and it unites them perfectly. It also feels great underfoot, and does not shed after a couple of good vacuumings. Highly recommended, and I am a very picky buyer!!!

Watch Those Colors!
This rug is entitled "Light Brown/Beige Wool Rug" and the description lists the colors as brown, beige, gold, rust, ivory and olive. Imagine my surprise when I received a rug with LOTS of silvery gray in the border. I assumed that a mistake had been made in the dye lot and asked Overstock to send one that had been checked to confirm the correct colors. They did send another. And it looked identical to the first. This is a pretty rug but is not the warm shades shown in the picture nor the earth tones described in the copy. I returned both rugs. Expect beiges and grays.

Sheds more than any rug should....
I ordered two of these rugs, one rectangle, one square. While they arrived quickly and were well-packaged, the colors did not match up to the colors in the photograph. Despite the differences in the colors, I found these rugs to be quite beautiful. After two months, it became neceesary for me to roll these rugs right back up and send them packing to the back of my garage. Never, but NEVER have I ever seen so much shedding. Despite constant vacuuming, tumbleweeds of rug fibers were everywhere on my wood floors. I have owned many beautiful rugs, some high-end ones which cost $7, 000. and some indoor/outdoor ones which cost $150, but never have I ever seen rugs lose fibers the way these two did. It was a shame to put these rugs to rest so soon, but the mess was overwhelming. I would not recommend these rugs. You can do a lot better for the money.

It works for me!
My new rug works for me and my living room. It shed for a little while, teensy little pieces of fiber, which showed up on my dark laminate floor. However, the dust mop took care of them in short order. I haven't seen much evidence of it recently and I've only had it a few weeks. I like the color because it has sort of a worn, dingy look that is compatible with my two little grandchildren. You know - it looks as if I've had it for a long time. It's soft, not too thick, and goes with my stuff.

beautiful and the price is right
I have a long and not too wide living area that is broken by 3/4 walls, windows and doorways. Buying this rug in two different sizes allowed me to split the area into 2 defined spaces and for the first time in the 6 years that I have owned this historic home I am happy with the furniture arrangements. The price for both rugs were less than what 1 rug normally costs in a retail store. I am very pleased with my rugs.
