Not at all what I expected.
I was very excited to receive this rug only 2 days after I ordered it. I need a large rug for my living room to cover my ugly brown carpet and I thought this would be a perfect choice to brighten up the room. The package was unusually small for a 6" x 9" rug which was my first red flag. When I opened it, the rug was uncomfortable to even touch. It felt like it was made out of burlap, or a material that would be used as a door mat, not an area rug. I would never be able to use an area rug that is itchy to the touch, as I want to be able to sit on lay on it. In addition to the itchy wool, the rug does not have any backing. It is literally reversible and has the same pattern on each side. This would be nice if you are concerned with dirt collecting on one side, but I was looking for something less like a mat and more like a rug. I will be returning it promptly, and customer service has been a great help in taking care of it. Thanks, Overstock. This rug is just not for me and could have used a more accurate description.
